Life Skills 8

     Life Skills 8 is a required exploratory class that lasts for one quarter of the school year.  During the time 8th graders are in this class they explore the FCS areas of Sewing/Community Service, Relationships, and Food and Nutrition.  During other quarters of the school year, the 8th graders take Computer for a semester and Art for a quarter.

Weeks 1-4:   Construct a Rag Quilt as a Group Project

Use Sewing/Job Skills

Participate in Community Service

Weeks 5-7:  Relationships (Sex Respect)
