Start by selecting Meeting Assistant (SF1) from the Apps menu in Salesforce1. Remember to enable Meeting Assistant in Salesforce1 by following our Post-installation Instruction.

3. Create a meeting

You can create a meeting with Meeting Assistant directly from an Event in your Salesforce calendar or from a Salesforce object (Lead, Account, Contact, Opportunity, etc.) A simple trick to quickly schedule a meeting with agenda template is to create a new Event from specific records above.

How to create a new event?

Go to Events                        Create New                        Fill in details                     Select an Agenda

You will be able to pre-select an agenda ahead of your meeting. With agenda lookup field, a meeting link (link to note-taking interface) will be generated in the Event when it is saved. Click Save when finish.

Then, you can either choose to collect notes by accessing the meeting link from Event.

You can also select a scheduled meeting/ event from Meeting Assistant. Awesome thing is, Event will be synced automatically to Meeting Assistant and vice versa.

Meeting Assistant in Salesforce1 displays all your scheduled meetings, including Meetings that you are the organizer or you are invited as attendee, either marked as meeting resource.

4. Start taking notes!

Let’s select a meeting from the list.

Once you start your meeting, you will enter the meeting flow which consists of three parts:

4.4. Share meeting minutes to internal team

You can edit the sharing of the completed notes to Salesforce users with Sharing - User List -button.

You can add new Users there as resources or remove other resources. You cannot edit the actual Attendees list at this point. To edit attendees, please click on Edit Event on the Summary view above.

5. Review notes and meeting

Having Completed a meeting, user can review and see meetings which were related to specific Object records (Account, Contact, Opportunity, etc.).

In this example, we check one Contact and see this Meeting List.

Another way to review notes is to check from past Event or Meetings in Meeting Assistant.
