2. Logical

In the famous sport of football, or soccer as it is more commonly called in the U.S.A. a global experimental rule change occurs that requires each team to utilize one additional player than the classically required number. If it is known that each team is constructed by only 3 simple layers of players, defenders midfielders and strikers what are the least defensive, least balanced and most offensive formations possible during a match if it is known that the roster of a team consists of 19 able to play athletes? Up to 5 athletes are allowed to be changed since the starting team-up.

Once upon a time there is a competition held by the King between the British archers in order to detect the 100 most talented ones for recruition at the Royal Army. Many bow athletes and soldiers requested to compete and among them is the Legendary Archer of the United Kingdom, Robin Lude, world famous for his accuracy in using his bow and arrows so that he never misses a wanted target, no matter what. He is also famous for his speed in shooting the arrows. The King thought about what the challenge would be and finally decided to order a huge circular target to be constructed consisting of multiple circles of same quiet small distance between their border lines but with different radius. Also they are made of alternating colors starting with white as the outermost circle and ending in black as the primary target. The total structure consists of 1001 such circlets. The distance of the participants is fixed for every one of the, about a mile away the target and the competition is held on a windy day with a north wind of exactly 8mph and 7 knots. Every archer is allowed to try up to 10 times and their ranking is based on the median of all attempts results, each result been calculated by the King’s mathematicians using a very special and custom formula relating the distance between the arrow and the center of the construction. To the closest percentile what is the probability that Robin will be recruited at the Royal Army? Also what is the possibility that he will end in first place after the competition?
