(Ages 7-14)

Oversight Committees

The BAA Board of Directors will approve two oversight committees.  Each committee will be chaired by the Bryant Black Sox American Legion manager, and the remaining members will be board approved.  Any board approved member can serve on both committees.  One committee will provide oversight for ages 7-10, and the other will provide oversight for ages 11-14.

Black Sox Eligibility

  1. Eligibility includes any player from the ages of seven (7) thru fourteen (14).
  2. Player must live in Bryant School District boundaries or attend a Bryant School.
  3. Player must be signed up to play in current BAA spring baseball season.

Playing Rules

  1. Each team will consist of 10-12 players as determined by the oversight committee.
  2. Substitution Rules

Pool Play-  Teams will bat round robin and have free substitution with no player sitting out on defense more than one inning until all players have sit at least once.  This is a continuous rotation and does not reset each game.

Bracket Play-  Teams will bat round robin and have free substitution with no player sitting out on defense more than two innings until all players have sit at least two innings.  This is not a continuous rotation and will reset each game in bracket play.

Uniforms

All teams will wear uniforms provided by the Black Sox program.  

Team Conduct

All teams are governed by the BAA Code of Conduct.  Any coach or player ejected during tournament play may participate through the conclusion of that tournament, but must meet with oversight committee before participation in another tournament game.
