 Language Arts: T1 T2 T3 I can read at grade level. I can create an inference after reading a grade level text and justify it with evidence from the text. I can identify a theme of a text with supporting details. I can identify the main idea and topic of a text with supporting details. I can use strategies to identify the meaning of an unknown word.

 Math: T1 T2 T3 I can fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.  Add/Subtract I can find the product of two whole numbers.  Factors will be four digits by one-digit or two two-digit numbers. 1x4 digits/2x2 digits I can find a whole number quotient and remainder with up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors. I can explain if a fraction is equivalent  to another fraction and generate my own. I can solve word problems using whole numbers and having whole-number answers using the four operations.

 Writing: T1 T2 T3 I can write a complete paragraph with the correct structure. I can analyze a prompt. I can write an introductory paragraph that introduces my topic and engages my audience. I can write a concluding paragraph summarizing my ideas.

 Science: T1 T2 T3 I can understand that water changes as it moves through the water cycle. I can understand that the elements of weather can be observed, measured, and recorded to make predictions and determine simple weather patterns. I can understand the basic properties of rocks, the process in the formation of soils and the needs of plants provided by soils. I can understand how fossils are formed, where they may be found in Utah, and how they can be used to make inferences. I can understand the physical characteristics of Utah’s wetlands, forests, and deserts and identify common organisms for each environment.

 Behavior: T1 T2 T3 I am actively engaged in learning. I am respectful to others rights, opinions, and property of others. I work well with others. I follow rules and procedures inside and outside of the classroom. I complete tasks on time. I work well independently. I listen the first time. I am on time to school and get my morning work completed.
