COVID CATCH UP - 2020/21
As a result of the impact of COVID over recent months, additional funding has been allocated to schools to support the provision of additional strategies and resources to enable students to ‘catch up’ on education missed. The DfE guidance and EEF support guide have helped to support the decisions made regarding the allocation of this funding. As such, Newminster Middle School has used this additional funding to support a range of measures in accordance with the following focus areas:
i) Teaching and whole school strategies
ii) Targeted approaches
iii) Wider strategies
Newminster Middle School funding allocation 2020/21: £41,520 (this equates to £80 per student)
