Chocolate Brownies

 Chocolate Brownies  

Ingredients:

        1/4 cup cocoa

        1/2 cup margarine

        2 eggs

        1 cup brown sugar

        1/2 tsp vanilla

        1/2 cup flour

        1/2 tsp baking powder        

1/2 tsp salt

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.

  1. Spray your square baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.

  1. Place the margarine in a liquid measuring cup and melt it using the microwave.  (25 seconds on high power).

  1. In the largest mixing bowl, combine the cocoa and the melted margarine.

  1. Add the eggs, brown sugar and the vanilla.  Stir until the batter is smooth.

  1. Add in the flour, baking powder and salt.  Stir GENTLY, until the batter is smooth.

  1. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan.

 

  1. Bake for 20 minutes.  Let cool on the top of the stove for 5 minutes before cutting into squares.
