NC Scholarship for Children of War Veterans- This scholarship program was created to show its appreciation for the services of its war veterans. The program applies to North Carolina schools and is for eight academic semesters.The deadline to apply is Feb.14. Go to https://scholarships.milvets.nc.gov for more info.
Community Blood Center of the Carolinas- Scholarship opportunities are open to any student willing to host a successful blood drive with CBCC from Nov.10, 2018 to Jan. 20, 2019. Interested students need to go to www.cbcc.us/scholarships for more info. A 1,000 dollar scholarship will be awarded to the student with the top producing blood drive.
Cheatham-White Scholarship - this scholarship is awarded at North Carolina A&T. You can be nominated for the scholarship or self- nominate yourself. Forms to nominate are available at https://www.ncat.edu/academics/honors/cheatham-white/index.html.
This scholarship is merit based only.
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship - Scholarship program for seniors who demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship. Apply at reaganfoundation.org/scholarships by January 4th 2019.
Golden Leaf Scholarship program - Scholarships are available to students in qualifying counties (stanly is included) who demonstrate financial need, to help them attend at participating NC public and private institutions or community colleges. How to apply - visit CFNC.org/goldenleaf to fill out the application or call 866-866-CFNC for assistance. Please do not send your information to the Golden Leaf Foundation.

East Carolina University has partnered with RaiseMe to offer micro-scholarships to eligible students for academic and extracurricular achievements throughout high school. Students can add achievements to their portfolio on RaiseMe and earn micro-scholarships for things like good grades, extracurriculars and sports, and perfect attendance.
You must have a minimum GPA of 2.75, reside in North Carolina, and either qualify for free or reduced lunch or attend an eligible high school to earn micro-scholarships to ECU on RaiseMe.
