Ctibor Krčmář (cameraman Czech TV): "I love you all very much. I enjoy working with people like you. It's a whole different vibe when you guys do things with your heart. I've told you this before, but these meetings, they're becoming more and more important to me. You're doing work that's extremely challenging, I know that, and I admire you for that. I know you've got an amazing team of people behind you, but there's still got to be someone who puts it all together. :-)"
Jana Marquart (FC St. Pauli player, female team captain): “It has been my first time at the Bucovice Blind Football Cup this year. My St. Pauli team
mates always saying this tournament is their all time favorite one in Europe. Therefore I
was very happy and excited to take part this year.
The whole tournament being a mixed team tournament was a great opportunity for me as
a female player to get in touch with other international teams on the pitch and aside the
pitch. Due to the rare options as a female player to play against international teams the
BBFC is a very important place to female and to young players to get our first international
experiences. It is an incredibly great organized event and the fact to have a great live audio-discription at the stands and for the live stream is an important factor of inclusion.
Furthermore the diversity of teams being invited means also a great chance to exchange
views and experiences with other visual impaired and blind players all around europe. To
build a network and to get in touch with other cultures is a big bonus of the BBFC
experience. All this plus the warmhearted hosts, the nice location and the well planned
organization made this tournament a very special one.
Michael Hain (FC St. Pauli - coach assistant): “We arrived on time, safe and happy!
Thank you so much again for a wonderful time ❤️.
You create an amazing atmosphere and warmed our hearts!Once again, many thanks to the best organizing team for another brilliant edition of BBFC!
We are already looking forward to the next one.
And thanks for the great pictures of Tomáš & Matyáš!”
Wolf Schmidt (FC St. Pauli coach): “Many many thanks, for a wonderful
blindfootball weekend in Bučovice, that we could have, with all the amazings souls around you. Again, really impressive!Looking forward to meeting you and your team soon again.”
Daniel James (former England goalkeeper, at BBFC commentator): “When I was invited to attend the tournament as a commentator by Jitka Carcouët I thought about it considerably. Not because of any factors to do with the great tournament or it’s people, simply whether I was ready to return to a game I had given everything to for so many years.
I am happy that I decided to go. I really enjoyed giving my opinion and helping Bradley Hope in the commentary box. Brad made the experience so easy for me allowing me to summarise as he expertly described the action. I also was let loose on lead comms a few times which gave me a huge appreciation of Brad's skill set. It was a great duo and I hope we get the chance to do it again down the road. Big thanks to Bucky behind the scenes with all the technical work also.
I loved seeing the next generation of talent coming through. The likes of young Natan Werner from St. Pauli, the rocket propelled Eeasa from Merseyside and the brilliant Hugo Testa from Anderlecht the game continues to develop and these young stars are amazing to watch.
The tournament is so special. So much goes into the weekend with meticulous planning. I commend all the staff, volunteers, referees and players. It was a great experience from start to finish. Honored to have made the pilgrimage back. Winner as a player, a coach/guide and now as a commentator.”
Natacha Theys (guide Brussels 5-a-side Anderlecht): “Thanks a lot for everything ! ♥️It was amazing ! It was so much more than just a sport ”
Stuart Winton (referee from Great Britain): “Thank you everyone - it was a memorable event - as always. Thank you too Jitka and her team of great people - accommodation was fantastic & I will love and treasure my hoodie (will promise to put it
in a very safe place for the 10th edition next year 🥰😘)C U all tomorrow 😉🥰”
Steven Cushion (coach Merseyside): “I would like to thank you for our invitation, your hospitality and letting us be a part of the 9th Edition of BBFC.
It was such an honour to be asked to come to your tournament and everyone from Merseyside would like to thank you and your team for your efforts in running a brilliant tournament.”
Jan Bango (Avoy MU Brno captain): "The ninth edition of the BBFC was again well organized and everything ran as it should. From a player's point of view I can say that I could only focus on the performance and everything else was in place for us. I would also like to acknowledge that all the matches started on schedule, which doesn't always happen. The matches themselves were played at a high pace and were equal to the level of the European top teams. Overall, I see the tournament as one of the best tournaments in Europe. Finally, I would like to thank all the organizers, volunteers, referees and players who make this tournament and make it unique. Well, now we have to start working to win the jubilee one!"
François Carcouët (referee from France): “Very well-done, more professional than "official" tournaments. BBFC is definitely the place where the soul and spirit of this amazing sport is. 👏”
Jonas Dawid (guide of FC St. Pauli, guide of the German national team): "I have heard many times about this tournament that the soul of this sport needs to be experienced in Bučovice. It's my first time here and only now I do understand what everyone is talking about."
