WMUNC II Code of Conduct


WMUNC strives to foster collaborative discussion, diplomacy, and peace throughout the conference. Agreeing to the terms written below will ensure that the environment remains as productive as possible. If schools do not submit this form, WMUNC reserves the right to prevent them from participating in this conference.

  1. Absolutely NO forms of discrimination (on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, country of origin, economic status, family history, or age) will be tolerated throughout the conference.
  2. Harmful/hurtful language may not be used to discriminate against others even when attempting to play a character or represent a Member State.
  3. Delegates may not imitate an accent in order to portray a character or represent a Member State.
  4. Delegates may not dress in the cultural attire of their Member State to prevent rude or offensive manner.
  5. Violent behaviors (including sexual harassment) of any kind will not be allowed during the conference.
  6. Inflammatory language and intentional provoking will be disavowed during the conference. WMUNC aims to promote a peaceful and diplomatic environment for all attendees.
  7. No drugs, alcohol, or weaponry of any kind will be allowed on campus throughout the conference.
  8. Delegates may not write any resolution (or parts of a resolution) outside of committee.
  9. Delegates must abide by the above rules even in online environments.

All delegates must understand that WMUNC will practice a no-tolerance policy towards violations of the Code of Conduct. Failure to abide by the Code of Conduct will result in the delegate being submitted to an investigation, and they may be asked to leave the conference and not attend in the future if necessary.

Delegates are encouraged to fill out the anonymous tip line or email WMUNC if they believe any attendees or staff are acting in a manner that violates the Code.
