St. Jane Frances Summer Reading 2019-2020
Requirements

Students entering into PreK-3, PreK-4, and Kindergarten:

Summer is a great time to catch up on all the great books that are available to read. Visit the library, bookstores, and your bookshelf at home. Take some time this summer to visit a faraway land, solve a mystery, or take an adventure to the wild. Your child has become a great reader this past year in school. They have gained many reading skills that will still need to be practiced over the summer to ensure retention. Summer reading can bring together the end of one school year and the beginning of the next. Have fun, relax, and enjoy a great book.

Don’t forget to join the Summer Reading Program at the Anne Arundel County Library for added reading fun this summer. http://web.aacpl.lib.md/us/

We encourage all students to read at least 10 7u7o99 this summer with their parents help. Please fill out the attached Book Log and return it the first week of school to your teacher.

Parents remember to check out the bookstores, teacher’s stores, and dollar stores for additional practice with language arts. Remembering reading everyday will strengthen your child’s comprehension skills.

Have a safe and wonderful summer!
