No, MyChurchPay does not deduct money from your donations to your church. Asoriba pays for the premium for the free cover you enjoy. If you choose to upgrade you will pay for the monthly premium in addition to your donation to your church.
Example:
If you have opted in for the Free Insurance Cover, a GHS 100 donation you give to your church is deducted from your wallet/account without charges. If you upgrade for higher benefits eg. Insurance Cover of GHS 5,000 that has a GHS 3.5 monthly premium, your GHS 100 donation will be GHS 103.5 once a month when you give a donation to your church.

How sure are we that church members will not pay into wrong church accounts?
Upon login via USSD or web, paying members will see the name of the church displayed before being prompted to initiate payment. Secondly every church has a unique link, code or ID.
Does the church require a website to enable card payments?
No. Churches with no existing website at the time of setup can use the payment link as it is. Those that want a free website to allow for both card and mobile money payments can sign up on Asoriba Church Management software or their existing site if they so desire. In addition, churches will receive a payment link that can be shared on all existing social media platforms to enable card and momo payments.

What is the settlement period for mobile money payments?
Settlement period is T+2 days. Settlements are currently done on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Is the system compatible with all mobile money wallets and card payment?
Yes, it is currently compatible with all card schemes supported on CyberSource (Global), MTN, Vodafone Cash and AirtelTigo Cash (Ghana currently).
What are the transactional charges/commissions involved?
2% for all mobile money transactions and 2.5% for all card transactions
Who absorbs the transaction commissions?
The church absorbs all transaction charges i.e. on mobile money as well as card transactions

Underwriting Criteria
This Hollard Life Asoriba Funeral Plan will cover any client who has successfully subscribed onto the Free Insurance on MyChurchPay by Asoriba. The Insured Person covered under the policy must be within the age limit of the contract.
No Insured Person will be covered more than twice under the Hollard Life Asoriba Funeral Plan.
Funeral Benefit (Member and Spouse)
The Death Benefit provides a lump sum payment in the event of demise of an Insured Person covered by this benefit dying during the Period of Insurance.
Hospital Cash Back (Member Only)
The Hospitalization Benefit provides a daily payment in the event of an Insured Person being admitted into a medical facility due to an illness or injury related incident for a maximum period of 15 (fifteen) days within a year.
Eligibility
An Insured Person is eligible to apply for cover for the benefits described above provided they are 18 (eighteen) years and above as well as below the maximum entry age as stated in the table below at the Commencement of Insurance.

There is no Waiting Period for claims that are the result of an Accident that occurred after the Commencement of Insurance. Should the cover of an Insured Person be terminated and subsequently reinstated, the Waiting Periods will commence on the date of reinstatement, unless waived in writing by Hollard Life.
When will I be eligible to be paid a Hospital Cash Back benefit?
This benefit is payable after the 3rd night of being hospitalized at a registered medical facility.
If I do not pay my monthly premium, will I be covered?
This policy is monthly renewable.The policy has a strict “No premium, No Cover” policy therefore if premiums are not paid for a specific month, there is no cover for that specific month.

It is a comprehensive church management software with an electronic/digital collection platform. It allows for easy management of church membership within and across branches over different geographical areas.
