Registration

Registration for members and Club renewals with the Southern California Rugby Football Union (SCRFU) and USA Rugby opens annually in mid-August and officially on September 1.

Individual Registration

Registration with USA Rugby and SCRFU is a vital step for all individuals looking to actively participate in the sport of rugby. Whether you aim to be a player, coach, administrator, medical staff, referee, or any combination of these roles, the registration process is now streamlined and straightforward.

Registering with USA Rugby and SCRFU not only ensures your eligibility to participate actively but also demonstrates your commitment to the sport’s values and principles.

Member Dues Structure

The registration fees will automatically be calculated and displayed prior to processing. The total amount varies depending on role, but will consist of fees allocated to the primary organizations:

Register as an Individual in RX

  1. Register by going to https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/ or downloading the RX app on Apple or Google.
  2. Once registered, login to your Member Profile.
  3. Select Register in the upper left hand corner.
  4. Click on Find A Club.
  5. Select the person you are planning to register (you may have children as linked accounts).
  6. Enter the Club name, select your club, and select next.
  7. Choose the registration options applicable to you (you can only register to one role at a time).
  8. View the personal information of the person you are registering (you can edit this information later, this step ensures this is the correct person).
  9. Upload a profile photo (or skip depending on whether this is required by your competition).
  10. Update your emergency contact information and answer any other questions.
  11. Review your Registration Summary.
  12. Agree to the USA Rugby Terms and Conditions.
  13. Enter your Payment information to complete your registration.
  14. If you have multiple roles, eg. coach and referee and player, return to the first step and repeat the process with the new role. All personal information will be retained and dues will convert so you will only pay the difference that is required for your new role.

If you’re a Club Administrator, please notify secretary@scrfu.org so we can grant you the permissions with your Club.

Club Membership

To maintain eligibility for matches and referee assignments, clubs must fulfill the annual requirement of registering with USA Rugby and being indicated as COMPLIANT within RX.  

If you require access to an RX account with ‘Club’ permissions to complete your registration and payment, please get in touch with us at secretary@scrfu.org

  1. To complete registration and payment you will need to have a RX account and ‘Club’ permissions.
  1. Go to Administration > My Club > Compliance.
  2. Click Pay Fee to register your club.
