RFQ - No.375 - Soils & Materials Testing Services

Question #1:   Minimum Insurance Requirements:  Would the District accept firms to submit their qualifications as is and then an amended policy upon the master contract award?

• “Professional Liability with a limit of not less than $2,000,000 Aggregate”
• “Sexual Abuse/Molestation with a limit of not less than $1,000,000”

District Response: Please include this request in Attachment 1a-Acceptance of Terms.

Question #2:  In RFQ Section VII.H, it states, “A locally owned business, for purposes of satisfying the locality requirements of this provision, is one which holds a valid business license issued by the County or the City and where the owner maintains an office in the City of San Bernardino or City of Highland.”  Is the District only considering businesses with offices in the City of San Bernardino or Highland as locally owned, or are businesses with a valid license issued from other cities in San Bernardino County considered local as well?

District Response:  Cities in the County of San Bernardino are considered local

Question #3:  Are subconsultants/subcontractors required to fill out Attachment 6 – Business Outreach Program?

 District Response:  No, sub consultants and subcontractors are not required to complete attachment No. 6

Question #4:  Are subconsultants/subcontractors required to provide any qualifications/additional documents?

District Response:  No, sub consultants and subcontractors are not required to provide any additional documents.
