Fun with Fungi - Kid Talk

Learn about the interesting and diverse world of fungi - how they differ in colour, shape, texture, behaviour, size and smell. Learn also how they grow and reproduce. Finally, we will discover some of the surprising ways that fungi have been used to improve people’s lives.

Christine Costello joined the Alberta Mycological Society in 2013. She presently sits on the AMS board as a Director-at-Large and helps to organize and lead forays in the Calgary region. Her mycological knowledge has grown over the years and she enjoys sharing her knowledge both with adults and children.
