March 2025
Dear Wilbraham!
The Keep Wilbraham Beautiful Committee (KWBC) is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual Earth Day Community Clean-Up, set for Saturday, April 12, 2025. After the incredible success of last year's event—where over 300 volunteers worked together to clean up our town—we are aiming for an even larger turnout this year, with 500+ volunteers joining us in this community-wide effort.
The KWBC, in partnership with the town selectboard, DPW, local Police and Conservation Commission, is organizing this event to make our town a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful place to live. On April 12th, volunteers will gather at Fountain Park between 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, where they will receive supplies, instructions, and a designated area to clean up. Volunteers will enjoy a complimentary donut at registration and upon returning a free tree sapling will be available to take home and plant. We are trying to keep things light, fun, and create a positive vibe where participants can celebrate the positive impact they’ve made.
To ensure the success of this volunteer-driven initiative, we need your support. We are seeking both financial contributions and volunteers to help make this event a reality. Your support will directly contribute to the logistics of the event and the materials needed for the cleanup, ensuring that we have all the necessary tools and supplies.
How You Can Help:
Our goal is to showcase Wilbraham Pride through the collective effort of businesses and residents working together to care for our environment. Your involvement will make a lasting impact on the community and help foster a sense of unity.
If you are interested in supporting this year’s Earth Day Clean-Up, please contact Megan Harrigan, Event Chairman, at keepwilbrahambeautiful@gmail.com or 413-427-3670. Together, we can make Wilbraham a cleaner, more beautiful place for all.
Thank you for your consideration and for being a part of this important event.
Warm regards,
Keep Wilbraham Beautiful Committee
