Laces 4 Lungs

Hi my name is AJ and I am 11 years old. My mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer when I was only 4 months old and I’m lucky enough to still be with her to this day. My life has always been curious with facts and knowledge about lung cancer, because we still don’t know why people like my mum get it for no reason. Knowing that she has lung cancer can make me think - “what would life be like without her?” and “how will everything be?”

This November, I have decided to support lung cancer research by selling bright and colorful shoe laces. I am calling it Laces4lungs. The laces are so that when people are having a bad day and look down they will think about other people who are having worse days. It also helps people talk more about lung cancer and start a conversation about it. The 4 is because my mum was diagnosed at Stage 4 and I was only 4 months old.

Please help to support my fundraiser for ALK Positive Australia, by buying a pair (or more) of laces for only $5. All proceeds will help fund the research into lung cancer.
