Today is Red Day

Red days include ODD hour classes : 1, 3, 5, 7

White days include EVEN hour classes: 2, 4, 6, 8

**If we miss school due to INCLEMENT WEATHER block scheduling at FHS will always rotate Red (odd classes) and White days (even classes) - students will NOT have two Red or two White days in a row. For example, if Monday is a White Day (even classes) the next school day will be a Red Day (odd classes).**

In order to meet the safety, security, and educational needs of our students, the Fox C-6 School Board voted unanimously to place a no tax increase bond issue on the April 7, 2020 election ballot. The additional funds generated from this bond will go toward providing updated building safety and security, additional classrooms, and other facilities needs for all buildings throughout the district.

  • JUNIORS
  • To start your Senior year, you must bring a copy of your Meningococcal immunization record to the nurse’s office for verification you received this vaccination AFTER your 16 th birthday.  This is a Missouri state requirement, and the nurses need this record ASAP, and most definitely before the end of this school year. Without this immunization record, you will not be able to buy a parking pass for 2020- 21 when sold at the end of this school year, and if the nurses do not have your immunization record before the first day of school on August 26, 2020 you will not be allowed to attend school, until proof of this immunization is brought to the nurse’s office. Call your Doctors office to see if you have already been  given the Meningococcal immunization after your 16 th birthday.  The Doctor’s office can fax the record to the nurse’s office ATTENTION NURSE.   Our Fax number is 636-282-6980    If you have not received this immunization please go to your Doctor, or the Arnold Health Clinic, and bring the immunization record to the Nurse’s office ASAP.
  • Boy's Volleyball
  • If you are interested in playing boy's volleyball this year, then join us on March 2nd at 3:00 in the gym. If you have questions please see Coach Mertens or Coach Dodge. If you want to get a conditioning jump on the season join us for workouts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-4 meeting in the commons or on the stage.
  • New 3 minute bell during second breakfast.
  • Second chance breakfast runs daily from 8:55 am to 8:58 am.
  • Students must be in line by 8:58 am to grab breakfast.
  • If students miss the bell they will be directed to class.
  • If making the 3 minute bell will be difficult for you, please consider eating breakfast before coming to school or eat during the first breakfast at FHS, prior to the start of class at 7:20

  • The Senior City Museum Field Trip is soon approaching! Please see the below documents regarding the field trip, which is on March 24th. Students have the option of attending the field trip, doing A+ tutoring, or job shadowing on this day. Please note that seniors have to pick one of these options or else they will receive an absence for this day. The rest of the grade levels will be testing and there will not be any seniors at school on this date. Please return the attached permission slip, signed and stating which option the student picks to Mrs. McFarland by Friday, March 13th, 2020, in the 300’s office. The $10.00 (CASH ONLY) for the field trip is due when you hand in permission slip.

  • *** Due to The City Museum’s new policy, we will not accept ANY permission slips after Friday March 13th. After this date we are unable to add any tickets for students to attend this field trip. Please make sure students have their money ($10.00)  when turning in the permission slips before Friday March 13th, as we have to turn in payment to City Museum in advance. ***

  • Attention Juniors and Seniors! We will be holding a Blood Drive at school on the day of February 21,2020. If you are interested there is a google form sent to your emails. If you are a 16 year old Junior you will need to fill out a parental consent and google form, but if you are 17-18 year old Junior or Senior you will just need to fill out the google form. You can get a Parental Consent form in the 300's office with Ms.Schumacher!

We are creating a SENIOR ACCEPTANCE WALL by the 300s office to post pics of seniors posing with college acceptance letters, trade school acceptance letters or military enlistment paperwork! All you need to do is pose with your letter, snap a photo and email it to lanec@foxc6.org ! We'd like to get this going in time for Parent/Teacher conferences so please start sending those photos in now!!!

  • Yearbook Portraits: Seniors must get their senior portrait done at Stephen's Photography at 4413 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Missouri 63010. Schedule your free sitting by contacting them at 636-464-1061 or on their website at http://stephensphoto.net/ .  If you are only getting your portrait taken for yearbook, there is no sitting fee! We do NOT use the school ID photos in the yearbook. This is an opportunity to dress up, look your best, and choose your headshot for the yearbook.

  • NICA is the national organization for mountain biking and it has come to Missouri for 2020. Seckman High School has a club started and would like to extend an invitation to any Fox students who would like to participate. There is no experience necessary... just the desire to get riding. The program will offer mountain bike racing and also events for students who want to ride but not race.
  • For anyone interested, there is an informational meeting next Thursday February 27th at 6:30 at the Trek store in Arnold. Please get there a few minutes early.

The University of Memphis is excited to host a student reception in St. Louis!  We would like to extend an invitation to any high school junior or senior who has an interest in learning more about the educational opportunities, scholarships, financial aid, and student life found on our campus.  Students who plan to attend should complete the brief online registration form.  I would appreciate you sharing these reception details with your juniors or any seniors who are still looking at college options.

  • Jostens will be at school on TUESDAY, February 25th at lunch and after school (4pm to 6pm) Class Ring orders.   Please see the attached flyer of some sample rings and the choice of FREE SOFTSHELL JACKET, ADIDAS BACKPACK OR WIRELESS EARBUDS!  Jostens is the official supplier of Class Rings for Fox High School.  There was a Sophomore class informative meeting on Tuesday, February 4th.  At this meeting, a packet of information, including the ring catalog, free promotional information and order form was distributed.  Please watch for this packet to come home and make sure your student shares this important information. YOU MAY PICK UP A PACKET IN THE MAIN OFFICE. Thank you for your timeliness for ordering to guarantee on-time delivery as the Ring Ceremony is May 5th! REMEMBER TO SAVE THE DATE for orders and the RING CEREMONY!

  • About The EMT Academy
  • ·         The class for graduating Seniors will be June 15, 2020 to July 24, 2020.
  • ·         Classes are Monday-Friday for five weeks, 8:00am-5:00pm.
  • ·         Students will earn $8.60 while attending class.
  • ·         After the National Registry examination and acquiring their state licensure, they will earn the EMT starting rate of $12.78 per hour, as well as, 401k, health benefits, and vacation time.
  • ·         Candidates must be 18 years of age by July 24, 2020.  (If they have an eighteenth birthday after July 24, 2020, there will be classes to apply for in the Fall and Winter.)
  • ·         Candidates must have a GED or High School Diploma.

Career & CollegeCareer & College

  • Our new College & Career Center is open for business!  Room 002 in the library is now a very useful space for students!  This is also where the morning college visits will now take place.  Students can use one of the computer stations for Naviance, to search for college info, complete scholarships, etc.; use one of the desks or large table work spaces to complete paper applications or read one of the many college/military magazines, books, and brochures available; or view all the great info posted on the college/scholarship and student job postings bulletin boards.  Come check it out!

Morning visits at 8:25 and 10:05 are held in the College & Career Center (room 002 in the library) and require students to sign up through Naviance or under "college visits" on the guidance page of the FHS website.
