Middle School Weekly Update 4/11/2025

Our gifted students have another reason to smile.  They received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Ryan Mackenzie for their first place finish at this years “What's So Cool About Manufacturing?” competition. Finding out that our congressman recognized their achievement was exciting for them and their smiles show just how happy they are.

Miss Hallie Seiwellvolunteered to decorate the bulletin board outside of the main office for the month of April.  This bulletin board is quite appropriate this time of year. For most people April Showers Bring May Flowers but if you are a middle school student you know that April also brings PSSA Testing. Our students are prepared for the PSSA exams everyday that they are in school.  Every class lesson, homework assignment, every quiz or test is a step towards being prepared with the knowledge, experience and confidence to take the PSSA Exams. Every student has the PSSA Power to do their best on the tests.

The third marking period SWPBIS Celebration included a magic show.  Students and staff were entertained by nationally recognized magician Richard Benninghoff. His talent for the slight of hand had everyone in the audience mesmerized. Students were able to use their third marking period positive behavior points to purchase items such as water bottles, open gym time, lemonade, lunch at the round table, extended lunch time to include WIN time in the cafeteria, or to send a spring Holiday Gram to a friend just to name a few of the options offered to them.
