 From the Scoutmaster

Hello Troop 77!

The mornings are getting chillier and fall is officially upon us.  This is my favorite time of the year, that change between hot and cold.  The air just feels so crisp and clean in the mornings and gives such an energy for the day.  I truly look forward to our October and November campouts for this very reason.

Speaking of camping, the October campout is live and you can still register through the end of Monday.  We will be camping and cycling the Silver Comet.  Details can be found Here. We hope you’ll join us!   The longer ride will fill a requirement for the Camping Merit Badge as well as Cycling Merit Badge.

This week’s meeting is always special as we conduct our investiture ceremony for the incoming Senior Patrol Leader, his Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders and Troop Patrol Leaders.

Rylan Hamner won the SPL election and will be selecting his team of ASPL’s.  Last week we also held open elections for our Patrol Leaders and I’m pleased to announce the following new leaders:

Alex Pan - Wizard Lizards

Rowan Wade - Pirate Platypi

Clint DeWolff - Bulls

Abigail Cole - Bats

Sanjith Ramalingham - Axolotols

Colin Pan - Krakens

Soren Borja - Titans

These leaders will make up the Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) for the Fall and Winter terms.

Some reminders:

Yours in Scouting,

Mr. Paul Mooring
