Attendance: Council members Dustin Epperson, Brandon Galik, Jude Hampshire, Mary Hite, Debra Kohman, Tom Lee, Andy Walther

Staff Members: Mayor Michael Compton, City Administrator Tim Hickin, Assistant City Administrator Chris Sharrock, Utility Director Joseph Peterson, Law Director Brian Zets, Finance Director James Nicholson, Director of Public Services Alan Haines, Planning Director Scott Fulton, Police Chief Bruce Brooks, and Council Clerk Jessica Cumbo

Public Attendance: 7 community members

Public Comment: There were no public comments at this meeting.

Old Business: Consent Agenda passed unanimously. Ordinances 2024-4468 and 2024-4469, regarding Community Reinvestment Areas, were Tabled until an appropriate agreement is in place with the school. Ordinance 2024-4466- Third Reading to rezone 136 acres on Columbia Road from Agricultural zoning to Planned Manufacturing zoning with a Plan District Overlay. Councilman Lee and Councilman Walther recused themselves from the discussion and voting.  The ordinance passed by a unanimous vote.  Ordinance 2024-4467 Third Reading to amend Flood Damage Prevention and Flood Plain Overlay. This ordinance passed unanimously. Ordinance 2024-4471 Third Reading authorizing the creation of a new fund to provide for the proper accounting and segregation of funds received and designated for the annual Independence Day celebration. This ordinance passed unanimously.

New Business: Ordinance 2024-4473- First Reading: An ordinance to create and establish compensation for a new full-time position of employment (Senior Planner)

Ordinance 2024-4474- First Reading: An ordinance amending Sections 929.03 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Pataskala, thereby increasing the Water and Sanitary Capacity fees.

Motions to declare three Dodge Charger police vehicles as surplus and ratify their sales at public auction after advertisement for not less than 1 week in Newark Advocate and Pataskala Standard. All three motions passed unanimously.
