The perks and benefits of founders assets
Community driven projects depend on their communities. Cosmic Horizon is no exception, and we wish to recognize and reward the early contributions, enthusiasm and bootstrapping of our founders. Our foundational NFT sale aims to deliver exciting and unique NFTs that will provide value and enhanced gameplay to those who have them. These limited NFTs are available only to early adopters and come with additional perks and benefits.
The founders’ NFT sale comes in three stages: whitelist round one, whitelist round two and the public sale. Each stage will offer specific perks and the exclusive NFTs available in each stage feature special perks as well.
Founders are not only important community members but also players in the Cosmic Horizon game. In order to play the game you will need an avatar and one or more ships to explore the universe.
The Cosmic Horizon NFT sale includes three limited, unique avatars:
The Kalin are a world conquering warrior race with a space battleship. This is a culture which explores the universe searching for new planets to conquer. Their ships are built for battle, capable of being equipped with heavy weapons and shields
The Tar’ri Merchants travel the universe looking for other cultures that will trade with them. They operate cargo ships that can hold a lot of inventory but aren't very fast and have a medium amount of weapons.
The Vedic Scientists travel the universe mapping different sectors in ships made for scientific research and exploration. These ships are extremely fast but have fewer cargo holds and fighting capability.
Veda ships are known for their efficiency and speed, and Pathfinders even more so. Ideal for exploring the galaxy, the advanced engines are designed and tuned for efficiency. While Veda ships have limited armor, their advanced shield generators can take a hit and their nimble nature allows for a quick escape.
Unlike a standard Pathfinder, the MKII were made in limited numbers for deep exploration and special operations. As such they have uprated weapons and cargo capacity (for dangerous encounters and for carrying more supplies when exploring the deep expanse of space).
Each of our ships is specifically designed with an avatar in mind, but this does not mean you have to use a specific ship with a specific avatar. You are free to choose your own adventure!
Ships, similar to the avatars, come with specially designed perks just for our founders. Attack, defense and burn ratios, as well as other ship stats vary depending on the level of the founder, but each will always have a slight advantage over non-founder ships.
Kalin heavy cruisers are formidable in battle, with heavy armor and high capacity energy stores for their weapons and shield. It is a less maneuverable ship, not very adept at evasive action, but the Kalin are not known to often retreat from a battle.
N’Kasi are an upgraded version of the standard Kalin heavy cruiser, fitted with upgraded cargo capacity and an experimental engine for improved efficiency compared to other ships of this mass and fighting ability.
The Tar’ri are merchants first and their ships are optimized for this purpose. Pyxis Freighters feature an almost unrivaled cargo capacity and are relatively fuel efficient, considering their size.
The Pyxis Freighter is a special assignment variation on the standard freighter - designed to go further and carry more. Though the Tar’ri prefer to rely on alliances and bargaining rather than combat to settle their differences, the Praxis Freighter has uprated shielding and propulsion systems to allow for increased chances when engaging in evasive maneuvers.
One of the most exciting founder perks is our Founders Club Membership. Our founders club and its membership is our way of saying thank you to those who are helping bootstrap the Cosmic Horizon project.
The NFTs sold in the founders' exclusive sale come with many perks and benefits. However, the biggest benefit of bootstrapping the Cosmic Horizon game is helping create a vibrant and exciting community. Community is the most important aspect of any project, particularly in the blockchain industry. Founders are at the center of the community and for this reason we are honoring them and thanking them for their support!
