Terms and Conditions for the Lit Lab London

Welcome to the Lit Lab! By purchasing a ticket or registering for our event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in any event hosted by the Lit Lab (the “Organiser”).

The event will take place at the date, time, and location specified in the registration information.

All attendees must be at least 18 years of age.

You agree to abide by all event rules and regulations.

2. Acceptance and Use of Tickets

All fees for Lit Lab events must be paid in full at the time of registration.

You must present your Lit Lab ticket at the time and date specified on your ticket to be admitted.

If you lose your ticket, you will not be able to attend the event.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. You may not sell or transfer your ticket to another person.

3. Attendance Policy

If you are late or miss the Lit Lab, you will not be able to attend and no refund will be issued.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your registration for an event at any time prior to the event date. If you cancel your registration, you will not be entitled to a refund.

The event is subject to cancellation or postponement at any time.

In the event of cancellation or postponement by the Lit Lab organisers, we will refund all ticket fees.

5. Conduct

You agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and responsible manner at all times while at the Lit Lab. You agree not to engage in any illegal activity.

You agree to not disturb other attendees.

You agree to not damage property.

The organiser has the right to refuse or revoke admission to the event. This includes people who are intoxicated, disruptive, or otherwise behaving in a manner that is not in the best interests of the event, staff or other attendees.

6. Safety

You agree to take all necessary precautions to protect yourself and your belongings while at the Event. You agree to follow all instructions, written and oral, from event staff.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Lit Lab organisers and their affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that you may suffer while at the Lit Lab. You agree to hold the Lit Lab organisers and their affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or losses that you may suffer.

The Lit Lab organisers are not responsible for lost or stolen items. You are responsible for keeping your belongings safe at all times.

8. Privacy Policy

By registering for the Lit Lab, you agree to our privacy policy.

We will collect and use your personal information for the purpose of administering the event.

We will not sell or share your personal information with any third parties.

By attending the Lit Lab, you agree to be photographed and filmed. The organiser may use these photos and videos for promotional purposes. If you have objections to being filmed, please make yourself known to the event staff.

9. Copyright and Trademarks

All copyrights and trademarks used in connection with the event are owned by the Lit Lab organisers.

You agree not to use any copyright or trademark without the express written permission of the Lit Lab organisers.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and Great Britain without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the Lit Lab organisers with respect to the Lit Lab and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

12. Successors and Assigns

These Terms will be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective successors and permitted assigns.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision will be struck from these Terms and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Waiver

By accepting the conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions and the enclosed waiver (page 4) you agree to release and hold harmless the event organisers, sponsors, and exhibitors from any and all claims arising from your participation in the Lit Lab.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time without notice.

Your continued participation in the Lit Lab after the effective date of any modification will constitute your acceptance of the modified agreement.

16. Headings

The headings in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and will not affect its interpretation.

Waiver of Liability for the Lit Lab London

I, attendee at The Lit Lab London, agree to waive any and all claims, causes of action, or damages I may have against The Lit Lab London, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents, for any and all injuries or damages that I may suffer as a result of participating in any science experiments conducted by The Lit Lab London.

I understand that there are risks associated with science experiments, including, but not limited to, the risk of injury, illness, or death. I also understand that I am responsible for my own safety and well-being while participating in drinking alcohol and/or participating in science experiments.

I understand that I am participating in these experiments voluntarily and that I have been given the opportunity to ask questions and to have any concerns addressed. I also understand that I am free to withdraw from the experiments at any time.

I hereby release and hold The Lit Lab London harmless from any and all liability for any and all injuries or damages that I may suffer as a result of participating in any science experiments conducted by the Lit Lab London.

I have read and understand the above waiver of liability and assumption of risk. I agree to its terms and conditions.
