GARDEN & RECYCLING TEAM LEADER - ROLE DESCRIPTION
Volunteering at Ängsbacka - share your skill in presence, service and togetherness
We live and we work together. Our lifestyle is centred around the exploration of presence, self-awareness, self-responsibility, and relating from the heart - each topic vast and nuanced.
With our daily work we aspire to serve others, and in extension of that, serve ourselves and the world. Every day we invite each other to remember to live life in celebration and gratitude.
We support each other and we hold a nurturing space for visiting participants, while at the same time supporting our own personal development.
To be part of the working community at Ängsbacka is an opportunity for personal transformation: becoming aware of our limiting beliefs, patterns and triggers, and moving beyond them with the support of a safe and loving environment. Ultimately, and in line with Ängsbacka’s overall vision, we hopefully come to the realisation of who and what we are beyond all thoughts & concepts - and develop beautiful friendships along the way!

The team lead role
In this essential role, you will be planning and overseeing the entire garden and park of Ängsbacka. To lead the garden team requires someone who is both practically skilled and a people person, who enjoys working with volunteers and holding space for the learning of people of varied skill levels. Our garden is based mainly on principles from permaculture.
The preparation of the land begins in April, and continues through the summer and finally reaches harvest season in late summer and autumn. However, we don’t grow only food in the garden. We have a focus on flowers as well, both decorative and edible ones.
