Dear OHS Students and Families,
Believe it or not, it’s time to start the course request process for the 2022-2023 school year!
The scheduling process is an exciting part of defining your high school experience. At OHS, there are more than 200 classes that can help you explore topics of interest. Several programs may help you learn more about potential career-focused learning opportunities and hands-on experiences that allow you to apply your interests in real-world settings. Our teachers and support staff are incredibly proud of the opportunities that exist at OHS, and we look forward to helping you identify the best classes to help you achieve your goals!
We will spend the next two months helping you explore and discern classes you might want to take next year. Please spend a few minutes to review the information and links provided in this letter, and if you have any questions, you are always welcome to reach out to me at CurtisJ@oasd.org or to your assigned counselor. You can click here to view your counselor assignments.

Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the programs and classes offered by each department during Pride throughout the month of December. You can click here to access a complete schedule of offerings.
Program Information Night for Families: January 5, 2021, at East Campus
We offer several programs to support students in their identified post-high school pathways, including intensive college preparation and apprenticeship opportunities. Families are invited to learn more about these programs at our Program Information Night.
At these information sessions, you will explore which courses align with your goals and how the programs support your career pathways. Presenters will include administrators, counselors, teachers, recent alumni, students, and parents to answer your questions. If you cannot make the session, please feel free to contact the individuals listed below for a one-on-one meeting.
The programs will be hosted at East Campus on Wednesday, January 5, and we will offer two sessions per topic. The first session will start at 6:30 p.m., and the second session will begin at 7:30 p.m. Please read the descriptions below and click here to register for the sessions that interest you.
