Welcome to the Village of McGraw!
The small Village of McGraw is nestled in a narrow valley about ½ mile wide running east from Cortland. McGrawville was settled in 1808 and incorporated as the Village of McGraw in 1869.
The Village is about 4 miles from Cortland and 3 miles from the I-81 interchange, making it convenient for residents to commute to work in Syracuse, Ithaca, Cortland and Binghamton.
With a population of 1,000, a fine centralized school system and numerous recreation parks, Mcgraw invites you to enjoy a small community lifestyle.
The Village of McGraw takes pride in its volunteer fire department, active churches, strong senior citizens programs, senior residential units and its enriching library.
The Main Street Historic District and Presbyterian Church of McGraw are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
