How to share a Screen AND a webcam at the SAME time

A proper and polished way to do this is coming to the app eventually, as it has been highly requested, although it's not quite there yet.

In the meantime, there still are a few great ways to do it.

  1. You can open a second tab and share your webcam or screen that way. You may need to use a different Stream ID value (&push=xxxx), as the same value can be used once per stream, but you can just make up a different one. If in a group-room, you don't need a stream ID value at all -- just join the room from a second tab and a stream ID will be generated for you automatically.

When you have two tabs open, it is best to have the audio out and microphone input all take place within the same tab. If the audio out and microphone in take place in different tabs, echo cancellation will not work and you may have feedback. Wearing headphones is also a solution to avoiding feedback.

  1. You can use https://obs.ninja/dual to create multiple OBS.Ninja windows on the same page. You can resize and drag the windows where you want, so you can share multiple Screens and webcams within the same browser tab.

  1. You can switch between webcam and screensharing using the built-in settings options, which let you change video sources dynamically

  1. You can use OBS to grab your Camera feed and mix it in with a Screen Capture scene. From there, you can use OBS Virtualcam to share the OBS mixed output with OBS.Ninja.

Check the other guides on the OBS.Ninja wiki for information on how to use OBS Virtualcam. This approach supports SMOOTH screen sharing at 1080p at 60fps, which performs better than the built-in Browser screen capture. It's definitely worth considering.
