Illness Policy: School policy states that students that have a fever, are vomiting, or have diarrhea cannot attend school for at least 24 hours after symptoms cease and are no longer on fever reducing medicine. Thank you for your cooperation!
Preschool:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Morning Preschool 8:15-11:30 am
Afternoon Preschool 12:30-3:15 pm
TK:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:15-12:30 & Wednesday 8:15-2:15
Shuttle Bus will leave George at 7:50 each morning and will return to George at 12:55 pm.
Wednesdays they will return at 2:35. Lunch at 10:45
If there is a late start, TK will have school until 3:15.
K-12:
Normal school day is 8:15-3:15 and Wednesday dismissal is 2:15.
Shuttle buses leave both towns at 7:50 am and 3:15 pm.
Lunch: TK- 10:45, K-10:50, 1st-11:00, 2nd-11:10, 3rd-11:15, 4th-11:40, 5th-11:50, 6th- 12:00,
MS/HS 7th-8th-9th 11:39-12:10, 10th-11th-12th 12:25-12:56
FITNESS CENTER: The GLR School will provide availability of the fitness center to the public. Membership is granted to adults who are 18 or older and no longer a high school student (and have graduated and concluded all summer sports seasons). For safety reasons, students must be supervised by an adult while using the fitness center.
Fitness center will be available for membership:
Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Saturday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Sunday 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM
School use hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
The fitness center will be closed on inclement weather days or other days when the school is closed due to weather or health concerns. If there are changes in these hours the posting will be on the high school announcements web page. Access the fitness center by door “A” on the east side of the GLR district building.

The school district, in its educational program, has a process to assist students experiencing behavior and learning difficulties. The building assistance team is responsible for this process. Representatives from the area education agency may also assist the school district in this process. Parents/guardians wanting access to this process should contact the building principal.
