Introduction
The JTVF Oscars Run-Up is an event that showcases everything that makes movie and show watching so great and is a celebration of 92 years of the pinnacle achievement in the cinema world. This event will showcase a number of games awarding points towards rewards, culminating in Jubilife TV and Films’ very own annual Academy Awards.
Scoring
How do you earn points? It’s easy! Participate in the Jubilife TV and Films room, play games every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and at impromptu times, and watch those points rack up! The scoring structure is as follows:

Games and Schedule
The games that will be played are Hangman, Snapshot and Trivia.
Hangman is simple - guess the correct name of the movie, TV show, actor, actress, or any other media-related word and win points!
Snapshot involves a staff member showing a still of a movie or TV show. Guess the movie or show it is from and you get the point!
Trivia is self-explanatory - answer a TV or film related question correctly and get a point!

If you can’t make these times, don’t worry! There will be impromptu games and you do not need to win the games to win the event.

You’ve worked so hard, what do you win? Here are the prizes!
1st Place - Voice Nomination*, $10 Amazon gift card, 1 game key from a list, immortalized in the room banner in some form, one choice of Show of the Day, one choice of Film of the Day
2nd Place - Voice Nomination*, $10 Amazon gift card OR 1 game key from a list, immortalized in the room banner in some form, one choice of Show of the Day, one choice of Film of the Day
3rd Place - Voice Nomination*, immortalized in the room banner in some form, one choice of Show of the Day, one choice of Film of the Day
4th-5th place - Immortalized in the room banner in some form, one Recommendation choice, up for one week
6th-10th place - One Recommendation choice, up for one day
* Voice nominations aren’t restricted to 1st-3rd place only! You can win this despite not winning any other prizes.

This entire event is the run-up to the Oscars! Watch the best films of 2019 duke it out with us on February 9th, 2020 at 8 PM!
