2019 Sonny Birch RHP/ OF (Penfield Chiefs)

Stands 5-feet-11 inches with an athletic frame. Has a slight leg tuck to the chest. Arm action is fluid with a high ¾ arm slot. Mechanics are repeatable. Fastball is measured 80-83 MPH with arm side run. Curveball is tight with 12/6 movement. CB sits 60-62.

2019 LHP Josh Van Bramer (Diamond Pro/Fairport HS)

Tall lengthy frame, stocky build. Starts with a high leg kick, getting extension to the plate. Arm slot is a high 3/4 . Works down in the zone with the fastball. Fastball measured 79-81. CB 70-72 with sweeping motion, late bite to it.

 

Collin Pichany OF (Penfield Chiefs)

Tall lengthy athletic build Slightly open stance. Hands kept high with slight bat wiggle. Has a short leg kick on the pitch. Barrel stays level through the zone. Has plate discipline and awareness of the strike zone. Worked a walk in the 2nd inning.

2019 Jordan Maher (Diamond Pro/ Midlakes HS)

5-10 Athletic stocky build. Has an open stance with a relaxed base. Hands are quiet and kept high. Has an upward tilt to his swing. Shows the ability to go opposite field.

2020 Nolan Hicks MIF (Diamond Pro/ Fairport HS)

5-foot-9 inches 150-pounds. Defensively- shows solid footwork on ground balls. Hands a quick and fluid. Release is high and accurate. In the infield Nolan directs traffic at shortstop making sure everyone is on the same page. Aggressive in the field. Arm strength is there making a play in the 5-6 hole. Showed his speed off swiping a bag in the top of the 5th.

2019 Casey Saucke (Diamond Pro/Midlakes HS)

6-foot-2 175 pounds, stands open in the box, with active hands. Powerful base. Takes a short stride to the ball for timing. Swing is fluid and quick to the ball. Barrel stays level through the zone. Crushed an RBI double in the  5th to tie the game.

Jack Flynn LHP (Syracuse Baseball Club)

Stands 5-foot-10 with an athletic frame. On the mound Jack works with a quick tempo. Uses a rocker step to a tight leg lift to the chest. Release is out of a high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball sits 70-72 working down in the zone. Curveball has loopy movement measured at 60-63 MPH.

Spencer Harford (Academy Stars)

Open stance with quiet hands. Swing is fluid and repeatable.  Barrel stays flat through the zone. Barreled up a ball to center for a single. Showed opposite field power hitting a double deep down the RF line collecting 2 RBI’s

Tyler Hassell RHP (Academy Stars)

6-foot-1 160-pounds with a lengthy athletic build. From the windup, has a short rocker step with a tight leg tuck. Arm slot is over the top. Fastball sat 68-70 topped out at 71 with run. Curveball measured at 62-63 with natural 12/6 movement.

Ethan Hollister RHP (Syracuse Baseball Club)

5-foot-7 140- pounds athletic build.  Has a slow rocker step into a slight leg lift. Arm action is repeatable out of a ¾ arm slot. Fastball sat at 70 MPH with arm side run.

Aiden Chamber (Seneca All Stars)

5-foot-8 160-pounds. Has a slight leg tuck to the waist. Reaches full extension to the plate. Has a high ¾ arm slot. Arm action is quick and loose. Fastball measures 77-79 with late run. Curveball has natural 12/6 movement. CB sits 68-70 MPH.

2019 Jake Canfied (Webster Warthogs/Webster Thomas)

Stands 5-foot-10 slim athletic build. From the stretch, shows a solid use of his slide step holding runners on. From the full, has a tight leg lift up to his chest. Arm action is live with repeatable mechanics. Fastball sits 79-81 with arm side run. Curveball is tight with 11/5 movement. CB measured at 65-67. Projectable Arm.

Hunter Kendall (Seneca All Stars)

Stands 6-foot-4 even stance with a solid base. Has a short stride to the ball for timing. Has upward tilt to his swing. Showed the ability to go both ways letting the ball travel deep in the zone.

2019 RHP Kyle Blum (Rochester Roughriders)
Lean projectable build, simple tempo, drops arm angles, mid-upper 70’s fastball, slider from a lower slot with 10/5 shape.

2019 Benjamin Nagy (Amherst HS)
Long limbs, balanced approach in the box, line drive swing plane, line drive between the 6 hole in first AB. Defensively, wide base, fields out in front, smooth actions.

2019 Santino Hernandez (Canisius HS)
Wide base in the box, strong with strength in the swing, hard contact to the left-side, RBI single in the first inning.

2019 RHP Joe Nist (St. Joe's Collegiate)
Stands 6-foot-4, 175-pounds, quick tempo, loose arm-action, high knee lift, ¾ arm slot. 76-78 mph fastball. Upper 50’s CB with sweeping action.

2019 3B Chad Gartland (Rochester Roughriders)
Long lean build, made a tough play to his glove side, quick release from a strong throwing arm to 1B. In the box, he’s relaxed and fluid with his swing plane. Some power to the gaps, still weight to add to his frame. Pitching in their second game of the day. Crouched stance, clean quick arm-action, feel for his off-speed. CB has late 11/5 shape, Upper 70’s low 80’s FB.

2019 C Jackson Dejohn (Rochester Roughriders)
Wide base in the box, high back elbow, loose hands, compact short path, level barrel plane with some juice to the gaps. Defensively, large target, soft hands, above average arm-strength. Pitching his velocity sits 78-80 mph with a live arm.


2020 Cade Dick (St. Joe's Collegiate)
Short compact path to the ball, line drive single past 3B, level barrel plane through contact.

2020 RHP Ryan Melleski (Niagara Jr. Thunderwolves)

Tall, lanky build with long limbs. Loose and fluid arm action with late whip. Starts from the stretch and generates leverage with lower half push off the bump. Tends to stay upright at times, more back bend would keep ball lower in the zone. More velo to come with physical gains and development. FB sitting 77-79 Mph with aggressive armside run. CB shows feel with late 11/7 drop sitting 63-64.

2020 C Javier Rosa (Niagara Jr. Thunderwolves) 

Athletic build with energy behind the plate. Well balanced, soft hands, active footwork and confident tendencies. Strong arm with short, snappy release. Offensively, quiet hands with a slightly open stance. Bat path is quick and compact with no unnecessary movement. Shows power potential and solid contact.  

2019 Connor McKendry (St. Joe's Collegiate)
Relaxed approach in the box, level barrel plane, some bat-speed from the right side. Line drive in the 6th inning between the 3B/SS side.

2019 RHP Avery Bowens (Rochester Roughriders)
Athletic appearance, average tempo, arm action is back and choppy, mid-70’s fastball on one plane. Defensively (OF) has made two big-time plays, both diving to his glove side. Extremely athletic, tracks balls with ease.

2019 Josh McTigue (Orchard Park HS)
Lean frame, relaxed hands, above average bat-speed, level barrel plane, 2B down the left-field line adding 2 RBIs.

2019 RHP Trevor Janese (Team New Era 17u)
Lean build, tempo is well paced, long stride, stays on the powerline. Long arm-action in the back swing, high ¾ slot. 77-80 mph FB with late sink.

2020 OF Danny Stapleton (Diamond Pro 17u)

Diving play in the first inning, moves well to his left-side. In the box, relaxed with a level plane. Hard hit contact to 2B side.

2019 C Connor Fitzsimmons (Diamond Pro 17u)
Large frame, open stance in the box, relaxed hands, fluid path, 2B in 3rd inning. Defensively, really improving behind the plate, wide target, above average throwing arm to second, 1.99 pop-time on a line throwing out a runner in the 2nd inning.

2019 Charlie Merkley (Diamond Pro 17u)

Hard contact from the right side from a level barrel plane. Sturdy frame. Triple in the 5th inning, one hop the RF-fense.

2019 Reece Correa (Diamond Pro 17u)
Wide base from the left-side, loose hands, repeatable swing path. Level path. Well hit double down the 3B line.

2019 2B Braden Zadrodjksli (Team New Era)
Skinny build, some incline in the swing path, long single to the left-side gap, well hit.

2019 Ben Hintz LHP (Diamond Pro 17u)

Large frame, open stance, wide base. Flat barrel through contact, hard contact, line drive stroke to 1B in the 3rd inning. Pitching- 6-foot-1 with a muscular athletic body. Has a deceptive delivery hiding the ball well, gets good extension to the plate using his lower half. Throws from a ¾ arm slot. Fastball sits 72 with armside run.

2019 Joe Brinza RHP (Grow2Pro)

Athletic build with potential for physical growth. Fluid motion and mechanics. Long arm action with a ¾ arm slot. Tends to get late armside run. Consistently falls towards glove side and opens front side slightly but is always able to release at a point that is effective and down in the zone. Able to fill the zone with strikes and uses offspeed to keep hitters off balance. FB sitting 75-77 with a peak velo of 78 Mph. CB has average action with 11/7 shape. Keeps the CB down in the zone and uses it infrequently.

 

2019 Jared Singnorelli SS (Grow2Pro)

Athletic frame with energetic and confident demeanor. Smooth hands and quick tendencies. Fluid arm action with arm strength across the diamond. Arm slot is quick and short with ¾ release. Shows ball early on double plays to teammates. Aggressive to the ball with active footwork. Offensively, stays quiet and balanced throughout. Slightly open stance and a level bat path to point of contact. Swing is smooth and consistent, does not try to exaggerate anything and keeps it simple with his mechanics.

2018 Matthew Arthur RHP (Southern Tier Sluggers)

Lean frame with lanky limbs. Athletic build with projectable physical strength gains. Smooth and steady mechanics with high leg lick over the mound. Long arm takeaway with consistently wrap behind head. FB has late armside run into right handed hitters. Sitting 77-79 with a peak velo of 80 mph. Tends to work backwards with CB with has sweeping slurve action spin is tight and consistently down in the zone 63-64 mph.  

2019 Brandon Walker OF (Northeast Twins)

Lean, athletic build with projectable upside. Balanced stance with repeatable swing path. Quick and compact path through the zone. Slight hand drop in load but is able to get hands to the ball consistently on level plane. Speedy and moves like an athlete. Deep line drive triple to CF in the top of 1st to drive in a run at RIT.

2019 1B/LHP Devin Hicks (Grow2Pro)
Premium body build, wide setup in the box, slightly open stance. Slight lift in the swing plane, power projection. Moves like an athlete.

2020 3B Blake VanWoert (Corning 17u)
Built well, wide base, comfortable look in the box. Short to the ball, compact path, control of the barrel, 2 RBI single in the 6th.

2019 3B Joshua Tryon (Corning 17u)
Strong burly frame, wide setup up, compact path, level to the ball. Deep line drive in the 3rd inning resulting in a stand-up double.

2020 Erik Charneski (Corning 17U)
Athletic approach, strong hands with a compact path. Drove a ball deep the the left-center gap, one hopped the fence showing strength and bat-speed.

2019 Garrett Prosper 1B (Northeast Twins) 

Solid body type with lower half strength. Compact swing path and consistently balanced. Hands start high with slight bat wiggle and hand drop to begin load. Deep triple to the right center gap to drive in a run in top of 1st at RIT.

2019 Cooper Alsworth INF (Northeast Twins)

Lower half strength and athletic build. Stays short and compact at the plate. Level swing with powerful hip rotation and quick hands to the ball. Simple load and actions to the point of contact. Batplane is consistently level with power potential. Hard line drive single back up the middle on breaking ball.

1B Garrett Prosper (NE Twins 17u)
Relaxed setup from the left-side in the box. Compact strong hands, slight incline to his swing, fluid throughout entire swing. Launched a 2 RBI double in the right-center gap. Power projection.

2019 Noah Coleman OF/INF (High Heat)

Solid, big bodied frame. Keeps hands relaxed and mechanics are simple to the ball. Uses lower half and aggressive hip turn when attacking the ball. Swing path is level and compact through the zone. Launched a stand-up triple to deep center in the 1st inning at RIT. Shows power to all fields with a stand-up double in his next at-bat.

2020 Ian Wilbur RHP (High Heat)

Tall, lanky frame with potential for more physical gains. Long arm takeaway up to a ¾ arm slot. FB sitting 77-79 Mph with late armside run. Fluid mechanically and arm action is smooth and controlled. More velo to come.

2019 John White RHP (Academy Stars)

Athletic, solid body type. High leg kick over the rubber and drop-drive tendencies towards the plate with lower half. Arm action is quick and compact with a high ¾ arm slot. Aggressively attacking hitters keeping the fastball down and moving from side-to-side. FB sits 77-80 with a peak velo of 82 Mph. More velo to come with physical gains. CB has average movement, minimally thrown with 11/7 action.

2019 Jeremy Glinski C (Academy Stars)

Tall, solid body frame with athletic attributes. Wide body and target behind the plate. Active feet with potential for increased arm strength. Offensively, level bat path through the zone, fluid movements with quick bat speed. Solid contact with the barrell staying in the zone. Roped a stand-up triple to left-center in the late innings at RIT.

RHP Kullen Crosby (NE Twins 17u)
Slight side-step, sturdy frame, belt high knee lift, ¾ slot with an upper 70’s fastball.

 

Chris Mattoon (Seneca All Stars)

5-foot-10 with a stocky build has an even stance with a powerful base. Hands are still. Showed great plate discipline. Has upward lift on his swing

2020 2B Tyler Bush (Penfield Chiefs): Scrappy player who is disciplined at the plate. Showed his speed on the base paths stealing second base and scoring on a single to left field.

 

2020 RHP Grant Hernady (Penfield Chiefs):

Tall and lanky build. Lose arm action. Fastball at 68-70 topped 71. Showed an inside pickoff move to second base to get a runner. Shows potential to add velocity.

 

2021 RHP/3B Peyton Pace (Penfield Chiefs):

Fluid swing that stays in the zone a while, showed some pop with a long double to left center field. On the mound he controls his fastball low in the zone. Sits 68-70. Uses his deep 12 to 6 curveball to keep hitters off balance. Showed some quick feet by picking off a runner at first. And fielded his position well on a comebacker up the middle.

 

2021 John Hendry RHP (Syracuse Baseball Club)

 Short and quick swing at the plate. Made solid contact all day long with 4 hits in his team’s first game. Showed speed by legging out a double and a triple. Showed the ability to take the ball to the opposite field. On the mound he followed through high but commanded the zone and hit his spots.

 

2020 Anthony Marsallo OF (Syracuse Baseball Club)

Made solid contact all day with a hard-line drive and a 2 RBI double to left center. Showed signs of speed on the double by beating the throw to second. On the mound the lefty showed a deceptive move to first and changed timing while delivering to the plate. Worked a slide step in along with a high leg kick. Showed an average curveball that broke 2 to 8.

 

2020 Alex Wurster SS (Syracuse Baseball Club)

 Athletic shortstop who showed some range in the field and an above average arm. He has an athletic and strong build. Showed some power with a triple over the left fielder’s head and a 3 RBI double to left center.

 

2021 Aiden Murphy P (Syracuse Baseball Club): Big bodied pitcher who came out throwing 68-70 before settling in at 63-65. Showed a tight spinning breaking ball that broke 12-6.

 

2021 Marcus Vogt OF (Syracuse Baseball Club) Starts with a tall, open stance. Had fast hands at the plate. Showed speed off on the bases with three stolen bases and in the field by tracking down a deep fly ball over his head in center. Showed his arm off by throwing a runner out at third from right center.

 

2020 Dimitri Queior C (Syracuse Baseball Club) Big bodied catcher, good arm from behind the plate. Starts his batting stance with his hands high and stands tall. Barrels up the baseball and shows potential for some power with multiple extra base hits. Even his outs were loud.

 

 2020 Russell Radko LHP (Ottawa Nepean Canadians) long armed lefty that showed two different pickoff moves to first base. Repeatable delivery. Worked mostly fastballs which sat at 68-69 topping out at 70.

 

2020 Tristian Godmaire C (Ottawa Nepean Canadians) Large frame catcher with quick feet and a strong arm. Very athletic behind the plate. At the plate he showed signs of power with a double down the left field line. Crushed a double in the left center gap.

 

2020 Daniel Cote SS (Ottawa Nepean Canadians): Showed athletic ability in the field making a smooth turn on a double play attempt. A left handed hitter at the plate with a flat swing plane and a barrel that stays in the zone.

 

2020 Benjamin Anderson RHP (Ottawa Nepean Canadians): Big framed body, used his legs well to generate velocity. Sat 70-72 and touching 74 once. Showed a sharp slider at times which sat at 58-59

 

2020 Eric Toms RHP (Ottawa Nepean Canadians): Tall pitcher with a plus arm who releases the ball from a 3/4 arm slot. Sat 72-74, but ran it up to 77 twice.  Mixed in a sharp breaking ball at 62-64. From the stretch he uses a leg kick. Lanky body type with the ability to add weight.

CF Robin Villeneuve (Quebec Titans 16U)

Offensively – aggressive hitter, smooth and fluid motion, short to contact, makes adjustments within an at bat, dangerous hitter with two strikes, consistent gap power to all fields, strong and quick hands, quick on the basepaths, intelligent runner; Defensively – gets a great break on contact, sees the ball well, with a confident glove and strong, accurate arm.

 

SS Xavier Morrissette (Quebec Titans 16U)

Offensively – powerful swing that is the result of lower body engagement, short to the ball with quick hands, comfortable staying middle third of the field, makes effective adjustments at the plate; Defensively – agile footwork, smooth and easy transfer from glove to throwing hand, strong and accurate arm.

 

RHP Alastair Mitchell (Quebec Titans (16U)

Durable build, whippy arm action out of lower ¾ slot, effectively changes eye levels and works both sides of the plate, late movement on two seam consistently induces weak contact.

 

3B Jeremy Picard (Quebec Titans 16U)

Defensively – impressive glove, fundamental footwork, quick transfer from glove to throwing hand, strong arm, capable of completing throws after making backhanded plays over bag at third; Offensively – short to the ball, makes consistent contact, keeps the ball in the middle third of the field.

 

2020 MIF Jack Von Ahen (ROC City 16U/Webster Schroeder)

Offensively – smooth and fluid motion, short to the ball, keeps bat on a level path through the strike zone, makes consistent barrel contact, comfortable staying middle third of the field.

 

2020 SS Sam Velletri (ROC City 16U/Brockport High)

Offensively – short to the ball, makes consistent barrel contact with gap power, makes effective adjustments within an at bat, quick hands, drives the ball to all fields, comfortable hitting in a variety of counts.

 

2020 RHP Troy Liebert (ROC City 16U/ Brockport High)

Pitching – effectively locates fastball on both sides of the plate, consistently changes eye levels, pounds the strike zone, late movement on fastball induces weak contact; Offensively – makes consistent barrel contact with quick hands, short to the ball with power to all fields, can take outside pitch opposite and turn on inside offering.

2019 OF Drew HerrNeckar (ROC City 16U/Hilton High)

Offensively – impressive contact hitter who consistently finds the barrel, uses all fields with gap power, short to the ball with a repeatable motion, quick on the basepaths; Defensively – gets a good jump on the ball off contact, sure glove, runs intelligent lines to the ball.

 

2020 RHP/1B Josh Ferris (ROC City 16U/Churchville-Chili)

Pitching – Uses height to get downward plane, works both sides of the plate, effectively changes speeds; Offensively – short to the ball, makes consistent barrel contact with some flashes of gap power; Defensively – confident body language, sure glove.

 

2020 RHP Steve Kemp (ROC City 16U/Eastridge)

Attacks hitters with quick arm action, effectively changes eye level, comfortable working both sides of the plate, shows the ability to bounce back after a rough inning, keeps it simple on the mound, late movement on two-seam, consistently induces weak contact.

 

2021 SS Brian Fry (Titans Baseball 15U/Medina)

Lean, athletic shortstop; left-handed batter with fluid and repeatable motion, keeps bat on level path through the strike zone, makes consistent barrel contact with quick hands. Defensively – agile footwork, smooth and easy transfer from glove to throwing hand. Fleet-footed runner with high baseball IQ on the paths.

 

2020 1B Kyle Borrello (Titans Baseball/Hamburg)

Sturdy corner infielder with pop. Offensively - triggers lower body engagement with hip rotation, powerful hands, makes consistent barrel contact, gap power, shows disciplined plate coverage, uses slight upper cup after contact; Defensively – sure glove at first, confident body language.

 

2020 Andrew Gault (Titans Baseball/Lockport)

Offensively – impressive bat control with the ability to take the ball opposite, quick hands, upper level plate discipline.

 

2020 OF David Bunn (Titans Baseball/Newfane Senior)

Offensively – quick hands, short to the ball, clean fluid stroke, repeatable motion, comfortable using all fields, makes effective adjustments within an at bat.

 

2020 RHP Liam Ward (Titans Baseball/Albion High)

Clean arm action from lower ¾ quarter slot, effectively changes eye levels, locates fastball well on both sides of the plate, unafraid to back batters off the plate.

 

2019 2B Shane Kopecki (Lancaster Fury 16U)

Long, lean and athletic; Offensively – quick to the ball, makes consistent barrel, comfortable going to all fields with gap power, quick on the basepaths, intelligent baserunner; Defensively – sure glove, agile footwork, smooth and easy transfer to throwing hand.

 

2019 1B Bryce Yorke (Lancaster Fury 16U)

Offensively – effective load, uses counter rotation between upper and lower torso to generate power, strong hands, slight uppercut after contact, gap power; Defensively – sure glove, confident body language.

 

2019 3B/RHP Zack Panafil (Lancaster Fury 16U)

Offensively – effective load, engages lower body, repeatable motion, powerful swing, gap power to all fields, makes consistent barrel contact; Defensively – sure glove with accurate arm across the infield; Pitching – pounds the strike zone with late movement on his two-seam.

 

2019 SS Joe Pagano (Lancaster Fury 16U)

Offensively – uses counter rotation between upper and lower torso to generate power, short to the ball with strong hands, repeatable motion, uses all fields with gap power, slight uppercut after contact, heads up runner who looks to take the extra base; Defensively – sure glove, fundamental footwork, quick transfer to throwing hand with a strong and accurate arm across the infield.

 

2020 CF Anthony Petragnani (Baldwinsville Swarm 16U)

Offensively – short to the ball; makes consistent barrel contact, drives the ball to the middle third of the field, athletic runner who possesses game IQ; Defensively – gets aggressive break on the ball upon contact.

 

2020 3B Nick Chase (Baldwinsville Swarm 16U)

Defensively – impressive glove with the ability to make plays on his backhand or taking away swinging bunts, accurate and confident arm. Offensively – short to the ball with a repeatable motion, keeps bat on level path through the strike zone, makes consistent barrel contact.

Tommy Derleth C/3B 2022 (Grow2Pro/ Fairport HS)

Strong Athletic Frame Quick Compact Swing. Level Bat path.  Sets his sights up the middle and finds the gaps. Drove inside fastball to LCF for a stand up triple.

Nick Provenzano 2022 (Grow2Pro/Fairport HS)

Wiry Athletic Frame Long Swing Bat stays in the zone Level bat stays inside the ball on inside pitches. Hit two doubles.

Hard throwing Lefty 75 MPH Easy Wind Up Fluid Arm Motion. High 3/4 Arm Slot. Lots of lateral movement on slider as it quickly dives in on righties. Big athletic frame Quick Compact Swing Sprays to all fields.

Dominic Romano 1B (Webster Warthogs)

Big Frame Swing covers the outer half bat path stays level in the zone. Long stretch at first base snagged several balls out of the dirt. Disciplined at the plate. Went 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks

Zach O'Connell C (Clinton County Mariners)

Athletic Frame.Quick Pop Time Quick Glove to hand transfer. Lively and accurate arm. Threw out a runner who had an exceptional secondary lead. At the plate he has a compact swing with a level bat path that stays in the zone.

Jordan Cruz 1B (Ottawa Patriots) 

Tall Athletic Frame Slightly open stance. Long swing that covers outer third of the plate. Battles at the plate well disciplined. Hit a double to straight away center and battled back from a 1-2 count fouling off 4 pitches in a row before working a walk.

Cole Anastasia RHP (Academy Stars)

Arm slot is over the top. Velocity sits 66-68mph. Keeps fastball in the lower half of the zone. With runners on does a good job of keeping runners close with smooth slide step to the plate. Solid at producing ground balls.

Jake Sgroi RHP (Academy Stars)

¾ arm slot with velocity being 68-69 mph, touches 70mph. Curveball has sweeping action and is 60-63 mph. Shows solid balance in the windup and hides the ball until release point.

Jordan Clinch INF (Academy Stars)

 Battles with two strikes. Tough out with an athletic bat load. Timing on each pitch was solid.

Jimmy Staedt C (Academy Stars)

Chris Vancheri INF/OF (Academy Stars)

Loose stance with quick hands. Leadoff the bottom of the 5th inning with a line drive double down the line. Smart base runner but also aggressive with speed. Able to hit to all fields.

David Cuozzo RHP/OF (Geneseo Blue Knights):

Throws from the stretch with velocity 68-70 mph. Curveball has 12-6 movement with its velocity sitting 57-60 mph. When hitting, bat path stays through the zone and extends through the baseball. Able to hit the away pitch with ease with his quick hands and his discipline to let the ball travel.

Michael Walton INF (Geneseo Blue Knights)

 Able to hit the ball in the lower half of the zone. 5-foot-7 with sturdy frame. Crushed a triple over the left fielders head on a fastball low in the zone. Uses entire body to go down and drive the ball for line drives. Barrel stays through the zone and extends through the baseball after contact.

Clayton Harris RHP (Geneseo Blue Knights)

 Velocity sat from 68-72 mph. Uses whole body to get tork towards home plate. Throws at a ¾ angle and has a curveball that breaks like a slider or a sweeping curve would. Fastball has solid 2-seam movement to righties when he throws it inside.

Nick Thorpe RHP (Crimson Pride)

Broad shoulder lanky frame. Has solid arm movement and a smooth delivery to the plate. Sat 68-71 mph with ¾ arm movement. Hits the corners and with runners on does a good job of keeping them close.

Kevin Rieger INF (Crimson Pride)

 6 foot big stocky frame. Extends barrel through the zone. Shows power to all fields and is a solid first baseman. Has quick hands on the inside pitch.

James Kennedy RHP (Geneseo Blue Knights): 6-foot-1 tall stocky build. Showed velocity of 68-71 mph. Gets ahead of batters and challenges them ahead in the count. Curveball showed late break and was 59-61 mph.

Cole Carpenter RHP (Great Lakes Gators)

Velocity was 69-73 mph touched 74 mph. Curveball sat 64-65 mph with sweeping movement. Tall lanky frame. Stands tall on the mound and has smooth delivery to the plate.

Mark Sanfilippo RHP/INF (Great Lakes Gators)

 Velocity is 68-70 mph and curveball had sharp break with sweeping movement. Uses his whole body to gain velocity and attacks hitters. As a hitter he does a solid job of keeping the bat through the zone and hits balls to all fields.

Ryan Smith RHP/INF (Grow2Pro)

 Velocity sat around 71-73 mph. Throws over the top with location. Curveball sat at 60 mph with sweeping break. Shows balance in the stretch and the windup and is smooth to the plate. Hitting he has a short compact swing and is able to let the ball travel s he can hit to all fields.

Eric Roets INF/OF (Grow2Pro)

Flat barrel that travel through the zone nicely. Able to hit to all fields and stays on top of the baseball on pitches up in the zone. Stays through the baseball after contact.

Trent Rumley INF (Great Lakes Gators)

 Has power to all fields. Barrels stays level and through the zone for entire swing path. Crushed a line drive that hit the left field fence on the fly today against Rochester Grow 2 Pro. Makes contact with the baseball in front of the plate so he is able to gain power. Strong athletic frame and build.


2019 LHP Will Hearn (Diamond Pro 17u)
Long limbs, repeatable delivery, tempo and pace, high knee lift, release from a high ¾ slot. Fastball sitting 81-83, CB was upper 60’s, loose action.

2019 OF Ryan O’Mara (Diamond Pro 17u)
Well built frame, wide stance in the box, compact path, mostly level. RBI single in the 1st with a hard hit ball up the middle into CF.

2019 RHP Tim McClare (Grow to Pro 17u)
Well proportioned body frame, slower pace to delivery, high knee lift. Arm action is back towards 2B, quick and clean out in front. 79-81 MPH.

Jayden Castrechini SS (Grow to Pro 17u)
Relaxed approach, very quick hands, level barrel plane, hard hit ball to the left-side gap.  Made an above average play defensively going to his glove side showing lateral quickness.

2019 SS Noah Campanelli (Diamond Pro 17u)
Above average defensive skills, loose actions. In the box, crushed a line drive down the 3B side with a stand-up double. Mostly level barrel plane, above average bat-speed.

2019 3B Tyler Holmes (Diamond Pro 17u)
Thick strong lower half, open stance, relaxed barrel rested on his back shoulder. Compact power in the hands, slight lift to his swing, above average plate coverage. Single to the right side in the 4th inning.

2019 Charlie Freeman (Diamond Pro 17u)
Long lean frame, body projects. Slightly open stance in the box, direct to the ball, hard contact with a line drive in CF.

2019 Zach Janson RHP (Diamond Pro/Pittsford Mendon HS)

5-foot-9 athletic build. Stands tall from the stretch when set, has a leg tuck to the chest. Hides the ball well, throws from a ¾ arm slot. Fastball measured at 74-76 topped at 78. Fastball with arm side run. SL is tight with late break in the zone. Tough to handle for RHH.

 2019 MIF Lucas Uriarte (Tucci Elite)
Lean build, soft hands defensively, active lower half with an easy release from a short ¾ slot. In the box, wide balanced approach, line drive stroke that’s short and direct to the ball. RBI in the 2nd inning with hard hit line drive to the CF.

2019 3B Michael Boyian (Tucci Elite)
In the box, open stance, wide base, leg kick for timing, lean frame. Defensively stays behind the ball, open glove, quick funnel and strong throwing arm from the corner.

2021 Will Tehan OF (High Street Hawks): Fast outfielder who tracked down a would be extra base hit in the gap to save two runs. Glided to the ball to get to it with ease. On the base path showed his speed again by swiping second base.

 

2022 Andrew Haugh SS (High Street Hawks): Athletic shortstop who showed a good arm and the ability to throw on the run. Hit a hard line drive through the left side. Also showed some speed on the base paths swiping two bags and scoring with ease on a hard-hit ball to center

 

2021 Aiden Schlerbaum RHP (High Street Hawks): Over the top arm slot that helps create downward action on his fastball with some sink to it. Lives low in the zone. At the plate he begins with a slightly open stance and uses a small leg kick for timing. An aggressive hitter who also showed plate discipline.

 

2021 Casey O’Bryan RHP (Niagara Jr. Thunderwolves): High ¾ arm slot. Showed the ability to locate his fastball that has some arm side run. Good sweeping breaking ball that broke late and kept hitters off balance. Fastball sat 68-70 topping out at 72, maintained his velocity through his entire start that went into the 5th. Starts in a tall stance at the plate

 

2020 Joe Crimi 3B (Niagara Jr. Thunderwolves): Strong lower half, played good defensively at 3B making a handful of plays, including snagging a hard-hit line drive that took him to his left. Starts with a slightly open stance and has a quick, short swing.

 

2020 Matt Lyskawa SS/RHP (Niagara Jr. Thunderwolves): Uses a deceptive high ¾ arm slot. Arm slot creates some arm side run at times. Deep 12 to 6 curveball. Located both pitches and got a lot of soft contact.

 

2020 Javier Rosa RHP (Niagara Jr. Thunderwolves): Fluid delivery with whip on his arm. In one inning of relief sat 72-75, touching 77. Used his lower half well and was able to live low in the zone. Buckled hitters with a sharp late breaking 12 to 6 curve.

 

2021 Ben Weingart RHP (High Street Hawks)

Uses an over the top arm slot to his advantage by creating some downward action on his fastball that sits right around 70. From the stretch he used a quick slide step and showed off a quick pickoff move to first.

 

2020 Cliff Genge RHP (Grow 2 Pro)

Tall and big bodied pitcher. Strong lower half. Delivers from only the stretch using a slide step. Predominantly a fastball pitcher which sat in the upper 70’s and touched 81 MPH. Showed a slow curveball that was a good change of speed from his fastball sitting in the low 60’s. More velocity to come with a projectable upside. He uses a tall stance at the plate and a small leg kick for timing, from the right side. Barreled the ball up with some loud contact all day including a triple that was smoked down the right field line. Fast runner with very long strides.  

 

2020 Ryan Smith C (Grow 2 Pro):  Starting with an open stance at the plate he showed some pop by blasting an RBI triple to the left center field fence. Worked two walks on the day showing good discipline by laying off close pitches. Quick runner on the bases and impressed with a straight steal of home.  Behind the plate he moved well and was athletic when blocking balls in the dirt. Showed off a good arm and quick feet by throwing out a would be base stealer.

 

2020 Erik Charnetski OF (Corning Travel Baseball):  Strong and athletic body. Fast outfielder with some pop in his bat. Tripled to dead center field. Hands start close his ear but move back on the load. Two hard hits on the day.

 

2020 Blake VanWoert OF/RHP (Corning Travel Baseball): Tall and lanky RHP. Very long limbed. Projectable velocity. Uses a quick slide step to home plate.

 

2020 Joey Troccia C (Corning Travel Baseball): Athletic catcher with good form when going to block the ball. Quick feet and a quick release with accurate throws to second base.

 

2019 Tyler Holmes (Diamond Pro): RHH with a smooth swing. Barrel stays in the zone for a long time and swing is short. Barreled a hard hit 2 RBI single to right center.

 

2019 Devin Mculcahy RHP (Diamond Pro): Over the top arm slot, uses his lower half well, from the stretch he uses a quick slide step to the plate. Fastball sat 70-73 with a 12 to 6 CB that hovered in the low to mid 60’s. Lived low in the zone and created a lot of weak contact. Fielded his position well spinning a 1-6-3 DP.

 

2019 Ryan O’Mara (Diamond Pro): Tall RHH that begins with an open stance, has fast hands and a barrel that stays in the zone for a long time.

 

2019 Justice Salamone RHP (New Era 17u): Slender RHP, over the top arm slot, arm has some whip action, sat 74-77 topping out at 78. Body has potential to add velocity. Showed a very tight, late breaking, 12-6 CB with 2 strikes.

 

2019 Anthony Kress RHP (Northeast Twins 17u):  Fluid delivery, pitcher’s mindset, fastball with run at 73-74 top 76, tight 12-6 curveball at 61-63.

 

2019 Luke Evans C (New Era 17u):  Backstop with quick feet and a quick release. Made accurate throws all day. Barreled some balls up and legged out an infield single.

 

2019 Lance Baldensperger (Northeast Twins): Tall stance but gets into an athletic position on his load. Uses a toe tap for timing. Gap to gap hitter and showed the ability to hit the ball hard to the opposite field.

2019 Caden Hann RHP (Webster Warthogs)
Tall, slender and lanky body type. Long hand break both on front side and arm takeaway. Mid ¾ arm slot with inconsistent arm whip. Use of lower half to push would increase leverage and velo. FB sitting 72-74 with a peak velo of 75 Mph. Keeps ball down but more finish would help to bury the ball further down in the zone. CB has average feel with slight break 11/6 action. Velo improvement with more physical strength.

2020 Aaron Hair RHP (Academy Stars)
Solid, athletic body frame. Tall and lanky body creates great leverage. Live, long arm action. ¾ arm slot with lower half leg drive downhill. Inconsistent follow through and bend tends to keep ball up in the zone. FB ranges 76-79 with a peak velo of 80 MPH with minimal run. Sharp breaking ball with 11/5 late action that creates havoc for hitters. Positive upside with more strength and pitching growth.

2019 Nate O’Brochta RHP (Seneca All Stars)
Solid, athletic body type. Energy and competitive demeanor on the bump. Loose, whippy arm action. Rotates knee towards center on above the waist leg lift. Quick worker tends to get rushy at times. FB sitting 77-79 with a peak velo of 80 MPH. Attacks hitters with fastball. Devastating breaking ball with sharp, late break 11/5 action. Offensively, compact, short swing with quick hands. Minimal movement in his loading mechanisms. Stays balanced, bat stays level. Power potential with exceptional speed. Triple off left field wall at Colburn Park.

2019 Zak Judson SS (Seneca All Stars)
Quiet stance from the left side, well balanced no unnecessary movements. Repeatable swing, compact and quick hands to the ball. Adjust to offspeed well and bat path helps Judson make solid, hard contact every bat. Leadoff hitter with speed, energy and athletic nature.

2021 Nick Procopio OF (Seneca All Stars)
Athletic build with projectable upside. Balanced, transfer weight consistently, powerful hip action toward the ball. Compact, fluid swing. Solid contact with power potential. Can hit to all fields. Speedy on the base paths and aggressive. Double and triple in Game 1 at Colburn Park in Newark.

2019 Logan Peters OF (Seneca All Stars)
Slender athletic type frame. Aggressive hitter with solid contact and power attributes. Gets exceptional hip rotation and bat stays long in the zone. Repeatable swing path. Speedy on base paths. Had 2 triples at Colburn Park in game 1 for his team.

2019 Chris Mattoon (Seneca All Stars)
Solid body, lower half strength. Relaxed feel at the plate. Slight open stance, transfer weight with power hip transfer. Quiet load with compact swing that is repeatable. Shows power potential and bat path is level. Consistent solid contact.

 2019 Black Harlock RHP (Academy Stars)
Solid, physical body frame. Fluid mechanics with a slight uphill tilt to shoulders. Mid ¾ arm slot with a quick arm break, tends to short arm the takeaway, gets lower half push off the mound. Works well down the mound Fastball sitting 76-78 with a peak velo of 79 MPH. CB is tight with late drop action 12/6 shape. Fills the zone and mixes pitches. More velo with increased arm strength.

2019 Pete Smith RHP (Webster Warthogs)
Physical body. Unique low ¾ arm slot near sidearm, late armside run, high leg kick and subtle tilt on backside to increase push with lower half. Sitting 76-78 fastball, effective when down in the zone. CB has average break and spin with 11/5 drop. Offensively, powerful attributes. Tripled off the centerfield wall at Colburn Park to clear the bases. Solid contact and squares up every pitch, stays level and bat is quick through the zone.

2019 Jake Canfield 3B (Webster Warthogs)
Slender, athletic build. Quiet approach with steady and fluid hands thru the zone. Average bat speed, compact swing, simple movements that are repeatable. Solid contact with power tendencies. RBI double to deep center and a run scored.

Joseph  RHP (Southern TIer Sluggers/Maine-Endwell HS)

5-foot-11 165-pounds. Works with rhythm and quick tempo. Starts with a quick rocker step into a high leg tuck throwing from a ¾ arm slot. Fastball is 74-76. Curveball is tight with late 11/5 break. CB sits 67-68. Athletic off the mound, fielded a ball between the mound and first and beat the runner to the bag with ease.

2019 Jordan Prince RHP (Northtown Nationals) 
Tall, lanky body with solid physical stature. Loose arm action with a smooth takeaway. Slight arm wrap behind end with a high ¾ arm slot. Fluid mechanics with above the belt leg left. Late life on the fastball, fills the zone with strikes. Smooth down the mound with more explosion with increased hip action. FB ranging from 77-79 MPH with more velo to come with increase overall strength. CB has average spin and break when he stays on top of the ball ranging 65-67 Mph.  

 

Dylan Richards (Southern Tier Sluggers/Johnson City HS)

6-foot 195-pounds.LHH Open Stance, hands kept still, big leg kick. Barrel has upward lift on swing, smoked a ball down the RF line that was just foul with power. Plate discipline walked on a full count, with a ball that was just outside. Power Projection.

2019 Andrew Sanchez C (Diamond Pro/Rush-Henrietta HS)

6-foot 195-pounds. Solid muscular frame. Behind the plate, receives the ball well, frames pitches outside the zone for strikes. Pop time measured at a 2.01-2.15. Mechanics are clean, stays low  with a quick transfer. Arm above average with accuracy. Offensively slightly open with some bat movement. Clean weight transfer to the back leg. Gets the hips through. Battles at the plate with discipline. Barrel stays level through the zone. Crushed a ball through the 5-6 hole. Talented prospect.

2020 Bryan Fry MIF/RHP (Titans Baseball/Medina HS)

5-11 160-pounds. Defensively- agile footwork, sure glove at short, transfer is smooth and clean. Live arm action across the diamond. Offensively- open setup, bat rests on shoulder. Upward lift on swing, with average bat speed.

2021 Chris AuClair LHP (Baldwinsville Swarm)

6-foot-1 170- pounds, thick frame.Sets up closed, high leg tuck to his chest. Arm slot is ¾ with clean mechanics. Arm action is fluid and quick. Gets extension to the plate. Fastball sits 74-76 with arm side run. SL sits 64-66.

2020 Laim McMurary RHP/MIF (Titans Baseball/ North Tonawanda HS)

6-foot-1 180-pounds. On the mound, shows athleticism coming off the mound turning a double play. Starts even on the mound, tight leg tuck to the chest. Arm slot is ¾. Fastball sits 75-77.

2020 Bo Nicholson RHP (Baldwinsville Swarm)

6-foot-1 tall lengthy frame. Arm slot is a high ¾. Fastball measured 74-77 with tail.Locates the ball well. Curveball is loopy with 11/5 action. Works down in the zone. Curveball sat 62-64.

2019 Connor McKendry (Academy Stars/St.Joe's Collegiate Institute)

6-foot-1 155 pounds. Lengthy frame, high leg tuck to an over the top release. Fastball sits 77-78 with arm side run. Curveball has tight 11/5 break sitting 66-68. Pounds the zone. Turned a 1-6-3 double play, fielded a bunt to the 3rd base side showing off his athleticism.

2019 Derek Childs RHP (Grow2Pro)

6-foot-1 140-pounds. Starts with a high leg kick extending to the plate. Hands break early, hides the ball well. Fastball 77-79. CB sits 66-68 with 11/5 break late in the zone. Around the plate, painting corners left and right.

 

Corey Ellis RHP (Academy Stars)

Velocity sits at 66-70 mph with solid run. Curveball sits at 58-61 mph with sweeping movement. Smooth delivery to the plate. Very relaxed and confident at the plate.

Jake Janus RHP (Academy Stars)

Velocity sits 70-73 mph touches 74 mph. Curveball has sharp 12-6 break at 60-62 mph. Throws strikes and gets ahead of batters.

Mitchell Kelly OF (Crimson Pride)

Shows above average speed around the bases. Drives all gaps of the field with his quick hands. Hit a triple in the right center gap and got to third standing up. Above average arm in the outfield and floats to the ball well. Pitching- Open stance, uses lower half well. Throws from an over the top arm slot. Finishes across the body. Fastball 70-72 mph.

Devin Snyder RHP (CNY Pioneers)

Fastball velocity sits at 70-75 mph and touches 76mph. Solid 2-3 inch 2-seam movement. Pounds the zone with solid balance on the mound. 5-foot-10 with broad lanky frame. Shows poise and mental toughness.

Justin Olivanoti INF (CNY Pioneers)

Smooth swing, barrel travels through the zone to contact. 5-foot-7 with athletic frame. Shows power to left field. Hit a line drive over the left fielders head that one hopped the fence against the Geneseo Blue Knights at Basket Road Field in Webster, NY.

2019 Jagger Nucci RHP (Rochester Rough Riders)

Fastball velocity sits at 75-77mph. Curveball sits 55 mph with solid loopy break. Throws a slider at 63-65 mph. Very relaxed on the mound and shows solid balance with being able to change up his timing of pitch release. 5-foot-11 with athletic frame.

2021 Patrick Walsh LHP (Grow 2 Pro): Slow and controlled delivery with quick arm action. During his delivery he stays very balanced. He works from a ¾ arm slot and changes eye levels on hitters effectively. Fields his position well off the mound and show composure by working out of a bases loaded jam.

 

Mikey Zicari 1B (Webster Warthogs 14u): LHH who gets into a good hitting position on his load. Advanced footwork in the field and showed high-level pre-pitch movement.  

 

Ryan Merkov RHP (Webster Warthogs 14u): Tall and lean build with a lot of room to grow into his body. Uses an over the top arm slot. Works low in the zone and kept his velocity throughout his entire 6 inning start.

 

2022 Derrike Goutremout RHP (Syracuse Sports Zone): Explosive arm with downward action on his fastball. Lean body. Used a slide step out of the stretch.

 

2020 Luis Suarez 1B (Syracuse Sports Zone): Big bodied first basemen. Wide frame and a strong lower half. LHH with signs of power to come. Pulled a hard RBI single to right field.

 

Ian McCasland RHP (Clinton County Mariners): Tall with a wide frame. Whip on his arm. Throws exclusive from the stretch. Uses a small leg kick. Lives low in the zone.

 

Zach O’Connell C (Clinton County Mariners): Fast feet and a quick transfer when throwing out runners. Fielded a bunt and showed good mechanics stepping into a throwing lane to record an out.

2020 Nathan Audi RHP (Penfield Chiefs)

Lean, lengthy, long limbed athletic frame. Mechanics are clean with a low ¾ arm slot finishing across the body. Has good extension to the plate. FB sits 64-68 with a little bit of run. SL is loopy measured at 55-57. Works in the lower half of the zone, painting corners in the playoff game at 10 am.
