2023 Minimum Desktop and Laptop Hardware Support Standards - Windows Computers*
Each year the Service Desk develops a set of minimum support standards for computer systems purchased by the university. Computers that fall below the minimum standards are not fully serviceable and should be updated or replaced. Consumer-based machines and models are not supported (e.g., Windows Home Edition operating system, 32-bit machines, etc.). When replacing your computer, contact the Service Desk (x4357 or ServiceDesk@morgan.edu) to ensure compatibility and competitive pricing.
