This Privacy/Data Protection Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how Kronologic, Inc. (“Kronologic”, “we”, “our” or “us”) collects and uses the information, including personal data, that you share when you use and its associated domains (together, the “Site”), as well as the information, software or services available through the Site (collectively, “Services”). Except where otherwise expressly indicated in this Privacy Policy or on the Site, this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected on the Site and through the Services and does not apply to any information that we receive through other means. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your Personal Information and how you can access and update this information. Before submitting information to the Site or Services, please review this Privacy Policy carefully. By using or accessing the Site or Services, and/or communicating with a Kronologic agent via mail, email or telephone you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. You are responsible for submitting accurate information to the Site. If you prefer that we not collect your personal information, please do not provide it to us. When you submit your personal and other information on the Site, you hereby consent to the collection, use and disclosure of such information as set forth in the Privacy Policy.

Users Outside Of The United States

The Site is hosted in the United States and is governed by United States law. If you are outside the United States when you visit the Site or engage in communications with a Kronologic agent via mail, e-mail or telephone, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using the Site and/or communicating with a Kronologic agent via mail, email or telephone, you consent to your information being transferred to our facilities in the United States and to the facilities of those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect, store and use the following kinds of information and personal data (“Collected Information”):

  1. information and personal data about your visits to and use of our platform. We collect personal data about your computer and your visits to the platform, including your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and number of page views, all of which are also Collected Information.
  2. information about any transactions carried out between you and us on or in relation to the platform, including information relating to any purchases you make of our goods or services. We collect:
  1. information that you provide to us for the purpose of registering with us on the platform and/or subscribing to our website services and/or email notifications. We collect first and last name, email address, and phone number for these purposes.

Kronologic does not store credit card information.

Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies We Use

We use cookies on the platform. A cookie is a text file sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. The text file is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser.

We may send one or more cookies which may be stored by your browser on your computer. The information we obtain from cookies is part of the Collected Information. Our advertisers and service providers may also send you cookies.

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies. (For example, in Internet Explorer you can refuse all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Privacy”, and selecting “Block all cookies” using the sliding selector.). This will, however, have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites, including access of the platform.

To improve our services and the platform, we may retain third party service providers to operate this site and help us monitor, collect and analyze information regarding your interactions with the platform and data you input, including through the use of such providers’ cookies on your computer.

Why We Use Collected Information

Your Collected Information will be used to:.

  1. administer and improve the platform’s usability;
  2. improve your browsing experience by modification and replacement of text, images, videos, links to increase relevance to the visitor;
  3. facilitate communication between Kronologic and you;
  4. if you are a member of a Kronologic team (employee), to provide your team manager with information about the templates that you create and the data associated with your use of the Site, Services and your email account. (n.b., Kronologic is not responsible for how your team manager uses or discloses this information)
  5. provide you with important administrative information regarding the Site and Services, such as changes to this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use and our other policies; and
  6. to prevent fraud and other prohibited or illegal activities.
  7. to provide other companies with statistical information about our users. Information we provide to other companies will not identify any individual user.
  8. if you so elect, to connect a 3rd party email account to your Kronologic account. This allows you to compose and send email messages in Kronologic. We then import replies to messages you send to access in Kronologic. You will also have the option to import and update events on your linked calendar. We employ a software technology called web beacons in our HTML-based emails to let you know which emails have been opened by a recipient. Please note that to the extent that you elect to connect with a Gmail account, our use of Collected Information will be further limited as indicated in the “Additional Limits on Use of Your Google User Data” section of this Privacy Policy.

Additional Limits on Use of Your Google User Data:

App's use of information received, and App's transfer of information to any other app, from Google APIs will adhere to Google's Limited Use Requirements.

Not withstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, if you provide the Kronologic platform access to the following types of your Google user data,

  1. The platform will only use access to read, write, modify, or control Gmail and Google Calendar message and invitation bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide a solution that allows your users of the platform to compose, send, read, and process emails and calendar invitations and will not transfer this Gmail or Google Calendar data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide, support and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  2. The platform will not use this Gmail or Google Calendar data for serving advertisements.
  3. The platform will not allow humans to read this data unless (1) we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, (2) doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (3) to comply with applicable law, or (4) for the platform’’s internal operations and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.

We reserve the right to amend this section from time to time to comply with the “Google API Services: User Data Policy,” to the extent it relates to our use of such Gmail or Google Calendar data.

For the avoidance of doubt, the additional restrictions contained in this section shall only apply to Gmail or Google Calendar data received through the Google OAuth API, to the extent such use is applicable to you.

Disclosure Of Collected Information

Unless you have consented or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose your Personal Information except to:

  1. enable our third party subprocessors to perform functions consistent with our Privacy Policy on our behalf. Examples include customer support specialists, web hosting companies, data analysis firms, payment services firms and email service providers. Such third parties may be provided with access to Personal Information needed to perform their functions, but may not use such information for any other purpose;
  2. the extent that we are required to do so by law;
  3. in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings;
  4. in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing churn risk).
  5. in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements

Security of Collected Information

Kronologic has implemented technical, administrative and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access and use as described in our Kronologic Security Overview. While Kronologic strives to protect your information, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and, consequently, we cannot ensure the security of any information. We will store all the personal data you provide or that we collect about you on our secure servers.

You are responsible for keeping your passwords confidential. We will not ask you for your passwords.

Controlling Your Personal Information

If you tell us that you do not want us to use your Personal Information to contact you, Kronologic will comply with the applicable law. You may instruct Kronologic to stop sending you emails, newsletters, or other information by submitting a request at with your name, email address, and your opt-out instructions with “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject. or, if available, following the ‘unsubscribe’ instructions provided. Kronologic may, however, continue to use your Personal Information to contact you to service your account or as otherwise authorized by law. Please note that if you use more than one name or e-mail address when communicating with Kronologic or using the Site, you may continue to receive communications from Kronologic to any name and/or email address not specified in your opt-out request.

We retain your personal data for 1 year or until data is requested to be purged from our systems by an authorized member of your organization, whichever occurs first. We will respond to such requests within 30 days. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.


We may update this privacy policy from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes.

Third Party Websites

The platform may contain links to other websites and third party products, which you may elect to use in your sole discretion. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of third party websites or such site operators’ actions including the collection or use of your personal data.


The invalidity or unenforceability of any provisions of this Privacy Policy in any country shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Privacy Policy, which shall remain in full force and effect.
