Sponsorship Guidelines

Each year the Florida Association of College & Research Libraries (FACRL) invites sponsorship for our fall conference. The fall conference brings together academic librarians from around the state to address a particular theme or issue. FACRL is a non-profit, volunteer organization.

In addition to vendor sponsorships, we welcome individuals who would like to contribute to support the organization and its mission by underwriting partial costs of the conference.  

The guidelines below detail the rights and responsibilities of sponsorship:

• All sponsors will be noted in the meeting program and on the conference website.
• Vendor sponsors will be named and thanked in the President’s welcoming remarks and in the relevant sponsorship activity.
• Vendor sponsors should supply a small company logo for inclusion in publicity materials.
• Sponsorships of $250 or above include free registration for one individual to attend the conference. Sponsorships of $500 and above include free registration for two individuals to attend the conference.

This year’s sponsorship opportunities include:

• Keynote ($500; 1 opportunity available)

• Help FACRL deliver a powerful keynote address to kickoff the conference. The sponsor will be recognized during the event.

• Lunch & Learn ($750; 2 opportunities available)

• A 20-25 minute opportunity for vendors to speak to attendees during the lunch hour.

• Student Scholarships ($300; 2 opportunities available)

• Sponsor a student currently enrolled in an ALA-accredited library school pursuing either an MLIS or PhD.  Priority will be given to students currently enrolled in an ALA-accredited library school located in Florida or Florida residents enrolled in an ALA accredited program elsewhere.

• Poster Sessions Sponsor ($250; 1 opportunity available)

• Help FACRL deliver an interactive and engaging poster experience. The sponsor will be recognized during the event.

• Wellness Happy Hour Sponsor ($150; 1 opportunity available)

• Help end the FACRL Conference on a relaxing note! The sponsor will be recognized during the event.

• General Sponsor - Titanium Vendor/Library Donation – $250.00

• This sponsorship level includes vendor or library information in the meeting program and on the conference website.

• General Sponsor - Gold Vendor/Library Donation – $100.00

• This sponsorship level includes vendor or library information in the meeting program and on the conference website.

• General Sponsor - Silver Vendor/Library Donation – $50.00

• This sponsorship level includes vendor or library information in the meeting program and on the conference website.

• General Sponsor - Bronze Vendor/Library Donation – $25.00

• This sponsorship level includes vendor or library information in the meeting program and on the conference website.

• General Sponsor - Titanium Vendor/Library Donation – $250.00

• This sponsorship level includes vendor or library information in the meeting program and on the conference website.

• Individual Supporters of FACRL (range from $25+)

• Members and friends of FACRL are invited to donate $25 or more. Excess donations will help fund scholarships and costs associated with next year's conference.  We appreciate you and will recognize you at the conference!
