Read-at-Home Plan

Students will read for 20 minutes every night.  We are currently using the Raz-Kids program which will track their reading daily, weekly, monthly, and overall.  They will listen to the story, read the story, and answer the comprehension questions at their reading level.  Once they have completed the level, the program will automatically advance them to the next level.  If they are answering the comprehension questions incorrectly, the program will not advance them until they have answered the questions correctly.  In addition, we send home monthly reading logs in case students choose to read some nights from actual books.  Students record their reading time and parents must sign it.  Students also record their time on Raz-Kids on the calendar, too.
