CONSULTING SERVICES

In-House

Spokes offers consulting services to Spokes members only. Limited consulting is complimentary and is provided via email or brief Zoom or telephone calls. Examples include answering questions or providing suggestions on a given topic or issue.

Members may contract with Spokes for more extensive consulting. Currently, the rate is $100 per hour.

Forming or dissolving a nonprofit.

Spokes assists members with the steps to form a new nonprofit corporation. If the member completes the steps independently, Spokes will provide guidance and answer questions as they arise. If the member wishes Spokes to draft the necessary documents and shepherd the member through the process, that time is billed at the hourly rate. The same is true for assistance with dissolving an existing nonprofit.

Planning and facilitating meetings

Spokes will help plan and/or facilitate your board retreat or other major meetings. This service is billed at the hourly rate.

Other assistance

Other consulting assistance can be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Referral Program

Spokes also maintains a roster of local nonprofit experts who are available to assist our members. We usually begin with a meeting to understand your needs and then provide contact information for two or more consultants that might serve your organization’s needs. You work out financial arrangements with the individual consultants.
