1. What types of people come to this event?
If you are interested in creating things, meeting new people and interact in a digital fabrication world, this is the place for you. If you are a Fabber (Fab Lab Network), Maker (Maker Network), Hacker (Hacke Space Network), Diyer (Do it yourself Network), or general public you are welcome to come and discover the latest projects, workshops, activities and conference. It doesn’t matter what expertise you dedicate to, if you are fascinated with technology, new developments and digital fabrication processes this is the place for you.
2. What days does the event take place?
As the FAB14+ the event is divided into 3 parts (Fab City Summit in Paris from July 11-13, FabDistributed all over France, July 14th and 15th and finally FAB14 (main event) in Toulouse, July 16-22 at the Pierre Baudis Convention Center)

5. Where can I register and buy my ticket?
Registration and ticket come together and you can do this in FAB14 page on the following link: http://fab14.fabevent.org/

6. If I buy the ticket can I have an invitation letter?
Yes, We have a system to manage Invitation letters for people who need them, in the following link: FAB14 Invitation letters and you will get an automatic response within 5min.

7. Why do I have to pay to attend?
Plain and simple, the process of planning and implementing an international conference with thousands of attendees and the top digital fabrication experts in the world costs money. FAB14 is a nonprofit organization and in order to put on the conference, we must have funds to do it. Registration fees help pay for the costs associated with a conference of this scale. We have surveyed other similar conferences and our registration fees are relatively modest compared with other large international conferences and for the level of program being offered.
8. Discounts and Codes?
Discounts are provided to those people that participate actively in the community. For this we have created some conditions in which you can get a discount for FAB14 July 16 - July 20 only!

9. Could I buy my ticket at the entrance of the event?
No, all tickets are sold only online. In most cases you cannot pay at the door of the event. Organizers need to order the food and supplies in advance to meet the needs of the week. If you live in a city where online payment is extremely difficult, there may be an exception. If you are physically unable to pay online, reach out to the local organizers to arrange payment at email@example.com
10. What does this ticket include?
It included access to the 7 days of the event. FAB14 July 16 - July 22
11. Are meals included?
Only the following days include meals: FAB14 July 16 - July 20
DAYS 1 TO 5:
DAY 6 and 7 No meals are included.
12. How many registration fee does a ticket cover?
The registration is for one person and non transferable access. In other words, you can go to all sessions that interest just you.
13. If I just want to go to one day of the event or one session/activity/workshop, do I have to buy the whole package for 7 days?
Yes, for now but stay tune for special offers on specific day tickets.
14. What are the accommodations for the event?
Attendees are responsible for booking their own lodging.

15. Is transportation included?
No, each assistant is responsible for their transportation. Here are some recommendations from the FAB14 Team:
The city center of Toulouse is relatively small and can be easily explored on foot or by bike. For longer distances, the bus, metro tramway network is very practical.
Public transport : The public transportation network of Toulouse is very complete and will allow you to go anywhere easily. The same ticket is used for Toulouse and it’s periphery. Only airport shuttle require on spécific ticket.
- “Capitol”, close to the famous square of the same name,
- “Jean Jaures”, who serves Wilson Square and its cinemas,
- “Esquirol” and its direct access to Saint Rome street (for shopping)
- “Saint Cyprien”, located on the left side of the Garonne River.
The T1 and T2 tram lines take over after the metro.
The T1 tram line serves 24 stations.
The T2 tram line connects Toulouse city center with Toulouse-Blagnac airport.
The terminus "Palais de Justice" allows the connection of these lines of Tramway (T1 and T2) with the B line (metro) and the existing bus network.
The "Arena" station connects with the A line (metro).

16. Can my children attend with me?
Yes, the conference is designed for the adult learner but on Saturday and Sunday (Day6-7) the Fab Festival will take place with a series of events dedicated for Kids.
17. Do my children have to pay to attend Saturday and Sunday?
No, the entrance for Saturday and Sunday is free.

20. What Payment method are there in Toulouse?
Payment methods in Toulouse vary, but every International Card should function if they are Visa, American Express or MasterCard. You have to take into account that in an ATM additional fees may apply when getting out money.
