   Mr. Robert Gschaar proposed to Myrta Alvarado in 1988, he showed her II $2 bills. Robert handed over one of the two bills and said “As a reminder that we are two of a kind.” The denomination of the bill was a reminder that, for each of them, this was a second marriage, a second chance at love. They had made the most of their 2nd chance for 11 years till the terrorist attacks of  11 Sept. 01

   Robert had taken responsibility of Myrta’s II youngest after the tradic death of thier father about II years prior to Robert’s murder. Robert helped raise her youngest II daughters, and had become a doting grandparent of II children of Myrta’s. His job at Aon had ended four years of part-time work; he had only been with the company II weeks when he died.

         Mrs. Myrta Gschaar briefly spoke to her husband by phone. The 2nd plane hit the north tower (Tower II) . Mr. Robert Gschaar last words, “People are jumping out windows. It is that bad.I will call you later, love you.” Myrta Gschaar never got that 2nd call.

Survivors of Aon Corp. say Mr. Gschaar, although new in the office, was helping guide people to the stairwells, returning several times to keep people moving.
