CH 2 - 17 : Create values for Attribute Root Cause Code in Case Type
In this IMG activity, we can define the permitted route cause codes for each case type.
- We have defined the case type (IMG activity Define Case Types).
- In the attribute profile, the attribute Route Cause Code (FIN_ROOT_CCODE) should be indicated as drop-down for the display in order to avoid errors during input.
- We can configure through Implementation Guide Menu // Financial Supply Chain Management // Dispute Management // Dispute Case Processing // Case Type // Create Values for Root Cause Code.
- On Determine Work Area: Entry” windows enter case type and choose check mark to continue.

- On “Change View Case: Root cause Code: Overview screen, choose New Entries.
- On New Entries: Overview of Added Entries screen, enter the following information. Below screen contains root case ID and description.

In this case, we have created three root cause of a dispute case. While creating a dispute case, we can select any one the root cause.
