6. Business Arising:

     6.1 Grants for Generator/ Camera: Accuracy comps and Camera: Landings at Toogoolawah: Local grants specifically the GCBF is 4 months away before a decision is made.  The grants have not been applied for, up for discussion is SQPC paying for these items.

I would like to thank you all for coming along for the SQPC general meeting here at I fly Gold Coast

Coaching applications are still being processed in the background by Chris Dodds, our area coach. I would like to congratulate Kris Taylor for being the successful applicant for the role as our new Administrator and Secretary. Vikki has been working with Kris to get him up to speed in his new position.

We recently received our first quarter commissions from the APF.

APF

The APF is in the process of trying to become a National Sporting Organisation, this is to hopefully help try and receive grants as an organised body at council.

There was a technical issue with emails being received from the admin email. This may have had an impact on attendance. This has since been resolved.

  9.General Business:

        9.1 The generator for Gold Rush has been faulty and returned twice and has now been refunded. The remaining balance will be transferred to Gold Rush to purchase a new generator.

        9.2 Discussed the online coaching form, before an event is being held. Reiterated in the meeting that the application needs to be placed at least 3 weeks prior to the event and must have slot availability to SQPC members once advertised.

        9.3 General reminder that the 31st of May is the last day to request the APF Conference Rebate amount.

10. Club Reports:

10.1 TSC : Ben discussed upcoming events happening at Skydive Ramblers (Learning Curve, Belly Bash, Starcrests and other events, for more information refer to TSC Calendar at tsc.qld.com.

        10.2 Gold Rush: Placing bid to host the State Championship for Accuracy Landings.

Could be a coached event relating to accuracies and other skydiving events, APF events page will be updated to these events.

10.3 iFly : Discussed sponsorship by Supporting coaches for events held at various events.

10.4 QPA: QPA update, There has been no QPA meeting since our last meeting.
