The student report is a legal document that presents each child’s progress across learning areas. It is prepared and sent to parents at the end of each term. Student reports may also be shared with future teachers and schools.
Student reports are constructed using the RE Learn & Develop.
Each student will be graded on an individual basis. The grades will be according to the students choice of instrument, level of proficiency and components tested.
Line 1: How has the student progressed over the year across the four objectives
Line 2: How well has the student been working towards these objectives?
Line 3: What can the student improve on in order to meet these objectives for the next academic year?
Line 4: Personal comment. Could be based on musical skills throughout the year, behaviour, attendance, regularity of handing in work, attitude to subject, ability to work with others, follow instructions etc.

The way the IB Programme report is concluded is influenced by the requirements set out by the International Baccalaureate. The intention of this document is to help teachers understand the purpose and features of the Student Report, as well as the roles and responsibilities of key staff for preparing these.
Student reports are constructed using Managebac. This is the same software used for planning and can be accessed both at home and at school. If you require support using Managebac, please make contact with the MYP or DP Coordinator.
At RE Learn & Develop, we value the importance of ATL skills. One of the ways we evaluate and give feedback for both MYP and DP students on ATL skills is on the report card.
