Long Term Substitute for Ms. Angerett
As you may or may not know, Ms. Angerett, our art teacher, is expecting the arrival of her second child very soon. Unless plans change, her last day with us this school year will be March 5th. We will wish her all the best as she begins this exciting new chapter with her family. Ms. Angerett plans to return to Lincoln for the 2026-2027 school year.
While Ms. Angerett is home with her new baby we are pleased to welcome Ms. Jennifer Musisko as our long term art substitute teacher. Ms. Musisko is a certified art educator with over 20 years of experience teaching in elementary and middle school classrooms, as well as in museum settings throughout the Pittsburgh area. She has worked in both public and private schools and brings a comprehensive approach to art education. Ms. Musisko integrates art history, cross-curricular connections and hands-on exploration across a wide range of media, including ceramics and digital art. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, experimentation, and student choice, fostering both artistic skill development and innovative thinking. As both a practicing artist and educator, she provides a balanced, globally informed art curriculum that encourages students to connect art with the world around them.
Please join us in welcoming Ms. Jennifer Musisko to Lincoln!

Lincoln Winter Olympics 2026 Come to a Close
Our students were eager to close the Lincoln Winter Olympics 2026 on Friday, February 27, 2026. During the last two weeks all students participated in the opening ceremony and the "Parade of Nations"; learned about their country in their classroom and encores classes; decorated their classroom doors to show off their selected country; competed against their fellow country members in Winter Olympics events in PE class; and competed against their fellow grade level countries in the Winter Olympics Medal Round on February 20, 2026. Below you can see the final standings showing how the countries fared in the competitions.

We are so proud of the students’ efforts throughout the Lincoln Winter Olympics 2026. Their hard work, determination, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit helped them to represent their countries admirably! Although we are saddened to see the Lincoln Winter Olympics 2026 and the Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, Italy, come to close, we know our students have created memories that will last for years to come.
We would be remiss if we did not give a big “Thank You!” shout out to Mr. Yannascoli, the Lincoln teachers and staff. If it was not for all of their efforts under Mr. Yannascoli’s leadership as our Lincoln Winter Olympics director, none of this would have been possible.
