This is an introduction to America’s Favorite Pastime. This program is designed to introduce the skills and fundamentals of baseball and softball such as base running, hitting, throwing, and fielding. Each player receives a hat and t-shirt.
July 8th is a Tball Family Night Out & Team Photos. This will take place at Chuck Hall Memorial Field from 5-7:30pm. There will be food and drink available and a special appearance by Maynard the Mallard! A fun night for our Tiny Tee Sluggers and families!

FLAG FOOTBALL
We’re partnering with Sauk Prairie High School Football for our Spring Flag Football season. The program provides a strong foundation in football fundamentals, including passing, catching, route running, and defensive skills, all in a non-contact format. Our goal is to create an engaging, instructional environment that promotes physical activity, teamwork, and a love for the game while preparing interested players for future football opportunities.
The season will begin with a preseason kickoff day located at the high school stadium from 3-4:30pm on Saturday, April 4th where players will get to work with high school youth football players in different stations and mini games.
Games will be on Saturdays from 1-4pm starting April 11th and go through May 9th at Culver Community Park. May 16th will be a rain makeup day if needed.
Practices will be on Wednesdays at Culver Community Park from 5-6pm beginning on April 8th and going through May 6th.
Volunteer coaches are highly recommended for this program to run.

CPR/AED/FIRST AID TRAINING
This blended learning course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and or children. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA, workplace or other regulatory requirements.
This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile, desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. A link to the online training will be provided approximately two weeks before the in-person date. Allow approximately 2 - 5 hours for the online portion.
Upon successful completion, a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

WALKING IN SCHOOL DISTRICT BUILDINGS
Open walking at school district buildings is available in the winter months. The High School is not open for walking during summer and fall.
Open walking is allowed in school buildings during scheduled times. Walking is not available on days when school is canceled due to weather conditions. Walking is also only available during the school year when school is in session. Walking is available at the Community Center most weekdays from 7:35 - Noon and at the High School in the evening on scheduled dates from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Please note that other activities may be taking place at the same time as the open walking hours. YOGA: CHAIR YOGA WITH PRAIRIE FIRE YOGA
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced while seated in a chair or using a chair for support. This class is designed to improve flexibility, strength, and balance, all while promoting relaxation, stress relief, and mindfulness. Participants will learn a variety of yoga poses and breathing techniques that can be done easily and safely from a seated position. Dusk in February is a perfect time to go in search of owls. Join the Devil's Lake naturalist on a hike through Steinke Basin to listen for owls and other sounds of the night. You’ll need to bring a flashlight and wear shoes or boots that will keep your feet warm. Wear layers so you’ll stay warm when we stop to call/listen for owls. This program is best for kids 10 and up and adults. We ask you leave your dogs at home for this hike. Meet in the Steinke Basin parking lot.

It is the Sauk Prairie night at Tyrol Basin’s snow tubing hill! Bring the family and enjoy a giggle-inducing winter activity. Sauk Prairie Recreation Department is buying group tickets for the community at a discounted price. The ticket is good from 5-9pm on Friday January 23rd. No transportation is provided, so stay the whole time or come for a couple of hours! There is no age minimum to tube, but everyone tubing needs a ticket no matter the age.

Sauk Prairie Community Education offers preschool for 3-4 year-old children under the direction of a licensed teacher. In order to attend Preschool for the 206-27 school year, students must be age 3 by September 1, 2026, and toilet trained.

Afterschool Club Summer Program is designed to provide care for students during the summer months and the schedule changes during the 6-week Summer School schedule. Summer camp offers more off-site opportunities for students as well as some special programming on-site.
There is limited availability for ASC Summer Camp as priority is given to students who participate in ASC during the school year and to students enrolled in ASC Summer Camp in 2025. Stay tuned for registration information.
Afterschool Summer Program Registration priority registration will open on February 16 at 10:00 a.m. Registration will open to the general public on March 2 at 10:00 a.m.

Priority registration is given to families who already enrolled in Afterschool Club.
Before School Club is intended to provide before school childcare for 4K-Grade 5 age students. Before School Club is held at Bridges Elementary School from 6:15 a.m. until 7:30 a.m.
Before School Club participants attending Bridges Elementary will follow the school routine for students arriving at 7:30 a.m. Participants attending Grand Ave School will be bussed to school at 7:30 a.m.
