The German Meal is today at 11:30 a.m. Come for the fellowship and food.

Book Club—There has been interest expressed in beginning a Women’s Book Club at Emmanuel. What shape this might take is up to those who plan to participate. A short informational meeting to gauge interest and begin planning, is scheduled for the time between worship and Bible Class on November 6th. Please plan to attend to receive additional information.

Food Pantry Collection in November—The pantry encourages donations of healthy items. The following list can guide us: French-style green beans, canned regular-cut green beans, yellow-wax beans, canned peas, toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, men/women deodorant, shampoo (not conditioner), bar soap, pump soap, toothpaste, laundry detergent, cereals (not sugary). Boxes will be available in the narthex through November 20th.

Reformation Rally—The annual Reformation Rally is today at 3:30 p.m. in the Worship & Fine Arts Center at Sheboygan Lutheran High School. Come and celebrate the gifts we have through Christ alone.

Pastor will be available on Saturday, November 5th, for private confession and counseling from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.

Watch for Pastor’s Monday Minute in your email each Monday to receive the link to the Sunday service on YouTube. If you’re not receiving this communication or the Thursday email with the bulletin and announcements, please send your email address to secretary@emmanueladell.org.

Pastor Marks can be reached at the church office or at (920) 400-0425 and is available for any pastoral needs that you might have. Feel free to reach out to him to schedule a visit or just stop by when the porch light is on. Also, let Pastor know if you are in the hospital, having surgery or a procedure, or simply desire prayer for any reason. He can also be reached by email at pastor@emmanueladell.org.

Sunday Bible Class meets in Memorial Hall after the Divine Service. We are studying the basics of Lutheran theology through a course called “Lutheranism 101.”

Daylight Saving Time Ends next Saturday, November 5th. Remember to turn your clocks back one hour.

Join us each Wednesday in the chapel at 6:30 p.m. as we gather for our Midweek Divine service. This service contains a spoken liturgy, one sung hymn and is different from our Sunday service.

Our Thursday Morning Bible Study meets around the coffee pot at 9:00 a.m. in Memorial Hall. Come join us as we continue our study of the Gospel of Matthew.

October 16th turned out to be an exciting, beautiful day for my 90th birthday celebration. Thank you to the Emmanuel Ladies’ Aid, Pastor Marks for his message, Elizabeth, all our members and the Sunday School of our Christ-centered church. I still feel warm and giddy thinking about it. Thank you for the lovely cards. I pray God will continue to bless our beautiful church and all of our members. ~Phyllis
