Title: Why you shouldn’t throw rubbish in the sea because it will hurt our sea animals ( turtle ).

Opening Statement: Why you shouldn’t put rubbish in the sea because you or your friends can really hurt the sea animals like turtles and other sea life animals. If you throw plastic bags in the sea the sea turtles will think that the plastic bags are jelly fish because they are clear. So please don’t throw plastic bags into the sea.

Appearance: A turtle is a fish which can walk on land and swim at sea. A turtle is a slow moving fish when its on land and when it is at sea. A turtle is green, has a yellow tummy, has really big feet and has eyes and a mouth. A female turtle can lay eggs but it has to be laid on land so seagulls can eat them so that can harm them. There is so many different turtles on planet earth.

Diet: A turtle can eat jelly fish, small fish, insects and earth worms, It is very common for them to eat these bugs ( and fish ).

Habitat: Turtles swim a long distance to go find food for them eat or feed themselves or their babbies often going or crossing the entire oceans.

Threats: Turtles can be threatened by sharks, crocodiles, large fish, octopuses will attack an adult turtle.

Reproduction: A sea turtle normally nest in three to four year cycles, the female turtle laying eggs during each nesting seasons which are the warmest mouths of the year. Also the leatherback turtle nest in fall and winter.

Closing Statement: In my closing statement I want to say why I am writing this. I am writing this because I am concerned that you don’t litter and throw rubbish ( plastic bags ) in the sea because it can hurt sea animals ( I am mainly talking about the sea animal, turtle ). You can hurt them by throwing plastic bags in the sea. I think that we should care more about our sea life animals and how it will look like if you litter and how it will look like when you don’t litter. It is your choice wether you want to litter or don’t litter, bye. By: Hayley.V.
