AI Safety Quest is seeking a dedicated Mentorship Program Volunteer to support the Mentorship in AGI Safety (MAGIS) program. MAGIS is a three-month initiative designed to bridge the gap between emerging talents and professionals in AI Safety by matching them together to work on a project. Why This Role Matters

This is an exciting position for the future of AI Safety Quest. You will play a key role on the beta run of MAGIS, a project with huge potential to scale and become one of AI Safety Quest's cornerstones. Your work will directly influence the success and future of MAGIS. This role has the potential to grow into a program manager role.

What You'll Be Up To

You'll play a critical role in the success of the MAGIS program including developing success metrics and creating a comprehensive cookbook for future iterations. This is a unique opportunity to:

• Onboard: Assist with the onboarding process for new mentors and mentees, ensuring they have all necessary information and resources.
• Facilitate Communication: Regularly communicate with mentors and mentees to address questions or concerns and provide ongoing support.
• Organize Events: Help organize program-related events and activities that enhance the mentorship experience.
• Gather Feedback: Collect feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement and enhance the program.
• Program Analysis: Design, build and apply success metrics to evaluate the program's effectiveness and identify positive aspects and areas for improvement.
• Create Resources: Develop a comprehensive cookbook for future iterations of the program, documenting best practices and lessons learned.
• Collaborate for Improvement: Work with the MAGIS program team to implement improvements and share insights with the broader AI Safety Quest community.
