By attending or entering the premises of the event, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these policies, granting us the authority to enforce them as necessary.

1. Consent and Communication: Consent is paramount in all interactions. Obtain explicit consent.

2. Personal boundaries: Always respect personal space and boundaries of others. Do not engage in any form of physical or verbal harassment, including unwelcome advances, unwanted touching, or offensive comments.

3. Cosplay etiquette: If you choose to cosplay, ensure that your costume does not impede the movement or visibility of other attendees. Avoid using props that may cause harm or discomfort to others. Remember, cosplay is not consent; always ask for permission before touching someone's costume. Photography is prohibited within the event premises.

4. Respect and inclusivity: Treat all attendees, staff, and speakers with respect and kindness, regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

This includes online or offline behavior that causes distress, humiliation, or harm to others. Report any incidents to event staff or organizers.

5. Confidentiality and Privacy: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants. Do not share or disclose any personal information or details about scenes or activities without explicit consent from the individuals involved.

Photography and video recording are strictly prohibited at the Munch event.

Attendees are not allowed to take photos or record any part of the event, including individuals, activities, or performances.

Failure to comply with this rule may result in immediate expulsion from the event and all future events.

6. Discretion and Code of Conduct: Maintain discretion and uphold a respectful atmosphere both during the event and outside of it. Engage in behavior that reflects positively on the community and respects the privacy of individuals involved.

7. No Non-consensual Activities: Any form of non-consensual activities, including but not limited to assault, non-consensual play, or ignoring stated boundaries, is strictly prohibited. Consent must be enthusiastic, informed, and ongoing.

8. Respect dietary restrictions: If food is provided, be considerate of attendees with dietary restrictions or allergies. Do not force anyone to consume food they are not comfortable with or that may pose a health risk to them.

9. Be mindful of noise levels: While excitement and conversation are encouraged, keep noise levels at a reasonable level to avoid disrupting others. Respect any rules regarding noise restrictions imposed by the venue.

10. Alcohol and substance use: If alcohol is being served, drink responsibly and be aware of your limits. You must be the age of 21+ and present valid ID. It is strictly prohibited to bring or consume illegal substances at the event.

11. No illegal activities: Engaging in any illegal activities, such as drug use, theft, or vandalism, will result in immediate removal from the event. Respect local laws and regulations.

12. Prohibit Indoor Smoking and Vape use: Be courteous to other attendees, by stepping outdoors away from the event space to smoke/vape.

13. Follow instructions from event staff: Cooperate with event staff, security personnel, and volunteers. Follow their instructions promptly and without hesitation. They are there to ensure everyone's safety and the smooth running of the event.

14. Reporting and Accountability: Report any violations of these rules or concerns about safety or misconduct to event organizers or designated staff. They will take appropriate action to address the situation and ensure a safe environment for all.

15. In accordance with our commitment to inclusivity and safety, only authorized Geekaholic staff and event volunteers are permitted to conduct workshops, host Tabletop RPG sessions, and lead campaigns. We meticulously curate qualified Game Masters to ensure a fulfilling 4 to 5-hour adventure. The exception is limited solely to running board games at designated tables.

We kindly remind you that these guidelines are designed to cultivate a safe and vibrant atmosphere for all attendees at Geekaholic Munch. By embracing and following these principles, you actively participate in the creation of a respectful and inclusive space where everyone can feel valued and included.
