Welcome to Travelling Tales
Thanks for signing up to #travellingtales. We are pleased that you could join us to tell a tale with other schools around the world. Our aim is to connect schools so they can collaborate to create a unique tale for a global audience.
You have been paired with schools from New Zealand, Luxembourg and United States of America.
Some schools will work on 2 parts of the story. If you know of anymore schools/classes at this age range then please let me know at Tribeoftravellingtales@gmail.com
It is really important that people keep to the schedule so that the tale can be started, completed and published within the 2 week period. Please also stick to the rule of keeping slides to 5 per story section and aiming to keep the voice recordings to under 10 seconds. The idea is that it is a short tale.
You will all be accessing the same Adobe Spark login details. Please do not log in before or after your time. Travelling Tales will publish the video’s and then share the embed link to the video. They will be published on Travelling Tales website, Twitter, and Youtube channel. The Adobe Spark Video Log in details are : -
When the children are in the process of making the story, can you please take photos of the process, children working together, videos, and send tweets etc. Also, a reflection about the process and the final product would be greatly appreciated by both children and teachers. These are the first #travellingtales therefore any feedback on the entire process etc would be great. Please email them to Tribeoftravellingtales@gmail.com
Please use the Story Mountain as a model for the children to use in telling the tale. There are more resources on the Travelling Tales Website to help. http://bevansjoel.wixsite.com/travellingtales/resources
The tale will begin on 03/11/16. If you have a problem with the order of the tale please let me know and we can do a little swapping around. The order of the tale is :
