Multiplication and Division by Powers of 10 #5
Narrator: 3 and 95 hundredths times one hundred. Now when we have multiplication and we are multiplying by powers of 10. We can move to the right so remember when we have division we move to the left but with multiplication we can go to the right. Now when we move to the right we move the same number places as we have zeros. So if we have three and 95 hundredths we can move to the right two spaces because we have two zeros. One, two and our decimal place is now there. So our answer is 395.
