Agenda items:

Col C reported on the new membership and competition system being developed by BAust. The new system will have full integration between membership module and competition module.

The ZMC discussed the value of having separate Zone Conditions of Play from the BNSW COP. A large majority of the conditions are purely duplications of the BNSW COP. The ZMC have recommended to the Executive that the Zone COP be scrapped and individual COP be developed for local Zone events. The recommendation was put to the Executive members present and passed unanimously.

The format and planning phase of the Zone Champion of Club Champions will be sent to clubs in the near future.

The proposal from Zone 13 for Zone 5 to participate in the suggested Veterans Inter Zone was discussed. Points raised included the cost, the travel and the lack of players in the age group to represent. It was resolved to reply to Zone 13 with a negative response at this time.

Col C advised all present that he has completed an online course for the Member Protection Information Officer.

General business:

The ZMC forum held at Bowral BC was well received by those clubs that attended. Topics covered included changes to BNSW COP, procedures for the conduct of pennants and championships.

Replies have been received from 12 clubs for the green fees survey at this point.
