Virginia Paint Horse Club Scholarship Application
The VPHC Scholarship recipient should be a well-rounded individual who is an active member of VPHC. The applicant does not need to be an active competitor in the show ring, but does need to be active in the VPHC exemplifying the spirit of APHA, community involvement, volunteer work, and scholarship.
Application should be emailed or postmarked by June 5.
The scholarship is a one-year renewable, non refundable award to a high school senior, college freshman, sophomore or junior.
The applicant must be a member of the VPHC and active in the promotion of paint horses. He or she must graduate or be a graduate of an accredited high school, enrolling or enrolled in a college program. A GPA of 2.75 must be achieved for an applicant to be considered.
The winner will receive a $500 Scholarship. Selection will be made by the scholarship committee and the award will be presented..
